"Overall this was a good stay. The riverfront, Cockburn’s & a fantastic Fado restaurant is within easy walking distance Our choice of room was double-booked & we were given the larger house. The ac had been turned off because the nights were cool. The problem was the day was very warm & the house was stuffy and we were told that we couldn’t leave the door open. The owner turned the ac on later in the night & it was very pleasant afterward."

"The home was wonderful and certainly beautiful. Our friends enjoyed sitting in the Garden and using the pool. The kitchen was great. Our kids loved the bedrooms where they stayed, and we all slept comfortably. It was easy to go to the places that we visited and some walked often. We would recommend everyone to use this home. Loved it."
