"Amazing boutique hotel with so much charm, Giorgio was at the front desk awaiting our arrival, we had already received messages from him prior to our stay welcoming us for ur stay. our room was spacious, two rooms actually super large bathroom. Stayed in the Belissimo suite also 2 balconies. It felt like we were in a huge mansion every little art room with its own unique ART. the restaurant just outside was amazing also. location right in the heart of Catania walking distance to everything. Breakfast was also perfect and the little bar wth all day water and coffee also with candy at the bar. Mini bar in the room and Will definitely be back!!! Thank you Giorgio!!"

"This property is incredible. First and foremost, Simone was such a wonderful concierge. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcome and truly set the tone for an amazing stay in Catania. The room was modern, spotless, spacious, and had the most beautiful view of the Duomo. Waking up to that view was something special. I only wish I had more time to stay at the hotel and enjoy it. And don’t forget to check out the rooftop. The views over Catania are absolutely beautiful and the perfect way to take in the city. A fantastic property, an incredible location, and wonderful hospitality. I would absolutely stay here again."

"The Toscano & Andrea were wonderful from the moment I arrived. The entrance was a little hard to find at first, but once realizing it was hidden behind a set of massively cool, old wooden doors (which I found is common there), Andrea was there to meet me and carry my overpacked luggage up the stairs for me 😊. I loved the charm of the old building, with it still being very nice accommodations. The room was very spacious and clean with a big window and balcony that overlooked Piazza Stesicoro. It also had a private hot tub which was relaxing after a full day of exploring. Andrea, the host, was amazing. He communicated with me prior to arriving to confirm my arrival time. Once there, he explained everything about the room and provided a map and info about the area including the little train you can catch right outside the B&B that will give you a tour of Catania landmarks. Breakfast was on your time, as he asked what time you would like to have breakfast and he had it ready for you in the reception area (and I found it very good!). He also sent recommendations for dinner locations, answered any questions you had, arranged for airport transfers (for 3am), and provided his contact information to be available via text at any time during your stay. Close and walkable to all the markets, restaurants, landmarks, etc. Being a solo female traveler to a country where I did not speak the language, I felt very safe and Andrea made it a wonderful experience & would definitely stay again!"

"My family and I were stranded in Catania recently, when our flight was grounded for several days due to volcanic activity. We were fortunate enough to have found this gem of a hotel and I can’t begin to express how grateful we are to the family that runs this place. Their kindness to us during a very stressful time was heartwarming. And the hotel itself is amazing. There is an elevator onsite (a real treat among most smaller European city hotels). The rooms are beautiful, clean, and spacious, equipped with a kitchenette, a balcony, and air conditioning. The hotel breakfast (included) was a godsend, as was the onsite restaurant, where we had some of the most delicious meals we had in our month-long stay in Sicily. And the hotel’s location, right in the center of town, allowed us to explore many parts of Catania on foot. The entire staff went out of their way to make things easy and comfortable for us, even driving us to and from the airport when our flight was cancelled yet a third time! If you are ever in Catania do not even consider staying anywhere else!"

"Staff, location (including outdoor patio & sitting room), and breakfast were all wonderful. Bed was comfortable & bathroom well-appointed. Only criticism is that our space would have benefited from some updates to replace worn, soiled carpet and remove mildew & discolorations in the bathroom."
