This property could be fantastic with a bit of work/repairs. I can live with a few tiles missing in the shower and bathroom but what cause my low review was the lack of air conditioning. They turn it off in the cooler months for the whole building! Was not informed of this on check in and after waking in a seat at 1am went to the desk and they told me to open the window...around 2am the garbage trucks arrived, so verry little sleep. It was 26C in the room!

Al momento della prenotazione non mi è stato segnalato che la stanza sarebbe stata in una dependance il cui accesso avviene o tramite scale o tramite un ascensore alquanto angusto e dall'apparenza poco sicura. La stanza era un miniappartamento con cucina (superiore a quello di cui avevo bisogno) e la colazione non risultava inclusa in quanto presente la cucina in camera. Sarebbe stato gradito a quel punto trovare una macchinetta per il caffé con delle cialde.... per due notti di certo non compro una moka e il caffé... La stanza ha un bel balcone che si affaccia sulla strada. Erano in corso dei lavori nell'edificio per cui di giorno era impossibile riposare tra trapani, martelli pneumatici e urla. Nel complesso bene ma non benissimo.

Amazing experience at Albergo Mediterraneo. Right in the heart of Palermo, everything is close by. Big room and great breakfast. I recommend this place and I will come back next time I'll be visiting Palermo.

Tutto perfetto! Abbiamo soggiornato in una camera quadrupla molto spaziosa, dotata di tutti i comfort. La colazione a buffet era ricca, varia e di ottima qualità. L’albergo si trova in pieno centro storico, a due passi dal Teatro Massimo, e offre anche la possibilità di parcheggiare, un grande vantaggio. Un’esperienza davvero positiva che speriamo di ripetere presto!

Ofräscht hotell. Överpris för standarden, borde ligga långt under €100/natt. AC på rummet fungerar inte utan nyckelkort och blev aldrig svalt. Mögel i kylskåpet (som också endast fungerar med nyckelkort). Färg lossnade från väggarna, sprickor i taket, gardinerna hängde på sniskan, smutsigt på väggarna, badrumslampan trasig (inte själva ljuset utan själva lampan där en stor glasbit lossnat. Frukostmatsalen var inte trevlig alls. Lobbyn inte heller. Luktade rök och var lite allmänt sunkig. Personalen vänlig och hjälpsam. Centralt läge.

Not so friendly staff. Very bad WiFi, almost non existent. Leakage from the AC and their fix was just to disable the AC so we went from water leakage to a warm/hot room. Breakfast simply OK.
