Orpheus Island Lodge is accessible only via helicopter. Guests must arrange transfers (surcharge) from Townsville Airport to the property, which is 30 minutes away via helicopter. To guarantee transfers, guests must contact Northern Escape Collection Reservations in advance using the information on the reservation confirmation received after booking. Daily scheduled helicopters transfers operated by Nautilus Aviation are subject to availability and payload restrictions. Luggage in excess of 15 kg/person (one small bag) may incur a fee and a private helicopter charter may be required. All helicopter transfer payments are made through Orpheus, on behalf of Nautilus Aviation.
