Beds: K, Q, Q Midcentury vacation home where it's all about relaxing in the sunshine. Gorgeous private pool yard with Spa and beautiful mountain views. Spacious open concept floor plan where all of the rooms open up to the outdoor patios, gardens and courtyards. Free WiFi, four flat screen televisions, and three en suite sleeping quarters including a guest casita with a serving kitchen and poolside bar. OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES As gorgeous as the interior spaces of this home are - it is the outdoor spaces that are the crowning glory. The entire back yard has been walled and landscaped for complete privacy. Poolside chaise lounges, outdoor dining and hanging spaces, a fire pit, shade umbrellas - this vacation home has it all - perfect for relaxing in the sun or escaping to the shaded areas. At night, beautiful twinkling lights and landscape illumination compliment the desert's starry skies to give this place a completely magical feel - like your own private Palm Springs resort. ** The pool will be heated upon request with an additional service fee. Please let us know if you'd like to heat the pool so we can ensure it is heated before your arrival. If you home has a spa or hot tub, heating the spa is included with your rental at no extra cost ** ** Please Note: 1. This fee is not included in the quoted price on some booking platforms. 2. Pool heating may be added in minimum of 3 day blocks per request ** INDOOR LIVING SPACES There is a simple understated elegance about this home that creates a very relaxed, comfortable, easy living vibe. The open layout of the living spaces is perfect for spending time with your entire group. The great room, with its two-sided fireplace, features lots of seating for lounging, dining and binge watching your favorite TV shows. French doors open to the covered lanai to reveal the breathtaking pool yard, gardens and mountain views. The kitchen with its natural gas stove is great for individual or group meal prep. ** The term "Pets Allowed” or “Pets Accepted" at an ACME House Company vacation rental means that we welcome dogs only. No other pets are allowed. ** SLEEPING QUARTERS All three sleeping areas have hospitality-quality mattresses, en suite baths, flat screen televisions, ample storage and direct access to the outdoors. Inside the main home are a King Master & a Queen Master. The additional Queen guest casita features a poolside bar and service kitchen with a full-size refrigerator. This is Palm Springs living at its best - where we blur the lines between indoor and outdoor living - taking full advantage of the weather, sunshine and spectacular mountain views. THE LOCATION Tucked away on a quiet residential street in the Movie Colony East neighborhood, this property is just one block from Ruth Hardy Park, and less than a mile from the world famous Palm Canyon Drive. You'll be in walking distance to the Palm Springs Uptown Design District with its fine dining restaurants, sidewalk cafes, specialty boutiques, art galleries and midcentury modern furniture showrooms. Dowdy & tired home in good location

Interior was old and run down, lots of low effort repairs, needs attention and upgrading. Modestly equipped kitchen, average bedding and sheets. Pool was nice once it got cleaned properly. Pool area and backyard were pleasant and comfortable. Nice neighborhood and easy walk to downtown Palm Springs.

Owners or property managers need to QC property.

The pool has only been brushed about two feet on the sides. It’s a bit green. Other than that everything was great.

Cute and quirky

This place is charming, but quirky. Great neighborhood, easy to get to. Communication with the management company was great! We did experience a few things with the smoke alarms and house alarm. Ended up burying the smoke alarm under a pillow and got a call helping me through the alarm. When we alerted them about things that were broken upon our arrival, they were great. The hut tub was awesome in the morning and at night. Bummed that the pool was absolutely too cold for us to use… if you’re looking for a polar plunge, this is your place! Dinner at Lulu was delicious, make sure you ask for Ramon!

Lovely stay!

The property was slightly more "weathered " than what photos indicated but that's ok. I know through experience to take photo staging with a grain of salt. My only suggestions are the following: Move largest TV from small room adjacent to kitchen to living room for communal watching. Find better solution to sensor light by pool. It is like a search light and overly bright and just switches on and off constantly from movement. Otherwise everything else was lovely! Beds were very comfortable. Wonderful duvets. Kitchen very well stocked! And house overall was very warm and cozy. More so when we had any issue your service and attention was excellent. Thank you

Perfect location with kids!

Right next to the park with a playground and big open grass area for kids to run around. Love the pool and having the casita made it the perfect house for my group. Would definitely recommend and return!

A nightmare weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We got to this property and left. It is not maintained and is old. The bottom of the pool is black and the jacuzzi is old and barely works. Stay away from here it’s worth a quarter of the asking price.

The only recommendation is the mattresses be replaced - all bedroom mattresses were quite soft and uncomfortable.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a happy experience. Very close to park and walkable to downtown. Our second time at this house, and the maintenance issues continue to be the biggest problem, but property manager was very responsive. Hot water heater ("instant" type) turned off in teh middle of a shower twice. Pool heater shut itself off every other day requiring a maintenance visit to restart. Dishwasher was not secured and fell out of the cabinet. Fireplace would not work (winter visit). Casita heater barely adequate. Inside heater could not be set below 67 at night.

Location is the main draw

Neighborhood is very quiet. So much so that we lived in fear of noise violations, even though we are quiet people. The place itself had a very dank, old smell. The furniture is very old and dirty. There were dishes left in the dishwasher when we arrived. We got eaten alive by bugs. The beds are not comfy. Of the three bathrooms only one had counter space. The AC does not go below 73. The pool was the only saving grace. The pool and the location. For the prices and fees we paid this place is not worth it at all.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As usual, ACME was wonderful. They even provided free face-masks! However I was fairly limited on inventory available for Halloween weekend. This home was the cheapest deal in town for a house. THE BAD: Floors were filthy (feet black after 30 minutes). No outdoor landscape lights (all broken) Had to call maintenance to get flood light working so I didn't fall at night. Pool light is manual. A/C system is odd: half of the house runs on regular a/c but the master uses an old fashion pump system I could never get to work (casita has a slim line A/C system that worked OK). Pool plastering is failing. House is much smaller than it looks in photos. No lights for outside dinning table. THE GOOD: Nice South facing back yard. Easy to find your way home. Garage parking (small car only). Great dog walking. Pool has a real deep end. Some mtn. views. Quiet area.

Fabulous Getaway

My husband and I were getting tired of our self-quarantine, so decided to spend a week in Palm Springs. We chose this house because they allowed dogs and there was a separate Casita for my daughter and her partner. They were able to work remotely from the Casita and still enjoy several hours a day in the pool and family dinners. We were overwhelmed with how nice it was when we arrived. So many amenities: beautiful yard, lovely pool and outdoor seating areas and a fully stocked kitchen. The house has two separate seating areas and two separate master bedrooms, each with an en suite bath. Everything was clean and comfortable. Because we're self quarantining due to our ages, we didn't go out but really didn't need to. We had everything we needed in this beautiful vacation home.

Perfect Summer Vacation

My grandkids were in the pool first thing. The got so used to eating breakfast by the pool. We stayed for 5 days and they never got bored. There was so many areas for them to play. The area is convenient and very close to downtown thus lots of restos for ordering/delivery. The Casita was perfect if u needed to do some office work. Loved the place and we will definitely be back.

Fun get away

Private backyard in quiet location. Great views of the mountains. Bedrooms were comfortable.

Fantastic Pool Getaway

Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at the Reeves Garden House. It’s handled by a rental company & they were great. This home had everything we needed to stay@home the entire time we were in Palm Springs. Neighborhood was very quiet. Outdoor pool area was vast and relaxing with enough shade provided in certain times of the day, even over the pool. The dog even enjoyed the small grass area. The separate entrance casitas guest bedroom was a neat surprise. And so was the available 1 car garage to keep the car shaded. Our first time booking on VRBO was great!

A Great Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is well-located, within walking distance of many restaurants and shops located along N. Palm Canyon Dr. We enjoyed the heated pool, hot tub, and fire pit in a private, backyard setting. The furnishings in the house are comfortable, but a bit shabby for our taste, and the linens and towels weren’t close to the quality we’re accustomed to when renting a place or staying at a hotel. The kitchen is adequately stocked with essentials. The interior of the casita appeared to be a bit more updated. The property management company was great to work with. It was very responsive to taking care of any issues we had, such as the pool not sufficiently heating, the fireplace pilot light being out, the bathroom sink in the casita not draining, and a broken chase lounge. It compensated us for inconveniences we experienced, which we appreciated.

Great stay in Palm Springs

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had rented the Reeves Garden House to spend Thanksgiving in Palm Springs. Although we had experienced some trouble with some of plumbing, Acme was very responsive to fix the issues. They were even willing to come within 20 minutes of when we called on Thanksgiving night to fix a broken faucet. They even provided a nice little gift for us to compensate for the small issues we had with the house. The house is great and located in an awesome neighborhood that is very nice for walks.

Nice pool, dated house and no service from rental agency

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were really excited about our stay at the Reeves house. However, our arrival experience pretty much sums up the stay. We met the rental agency concierge on time and no matter what, he couldn't get into the house. There's a code system, and no one knew what was the code. When we got inside, it was clear that the furnishings were dated and that the house had seen better days prior to its incarnation as a rental. The garden space is lovely. However, the owners should spend a little money to make the inside match the outside. All the furnishings look like they were bought at a garage sale on the wrong side of town. When I tried to do laundry, the door came right off the tracks, and although I sent a photo to the rental agency, no one came to fix the door. Likewise, when we tried to use the hot tub, the jet sent a shoot of water up about 20 feet and the whole thing was really filthy. Great neighbourhood. Nice pool house. But overall, just too much like a Motel 6.

House looks much better than it really is

Reviewer Comments: The house was very dark, not all like pictures,beds were small, furniture was in good shape but unattractive(too dark as the place was dark. The backyard was great except for the broken furniture.

Relax at the Reeves Garden House

Made use of the pool every day. Property is well managed and Acme staff are very helpful and always responsive. Would definitely return.
