"Property is spectacular with the most amazing views! The on site restaurant serves local farm to table food that is delicious! The rooms are a little small and run down but we didn’t spend much time in them other than to sleep. Lots of beautiful trails to explore and the night hike is recommended! Overall a fantastic experience if you are good with a rustic room and a few bugs!"

"Our six night-stay was delightful. The lodge is superb. Access to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve is a 10-minute walk away. Our room was delightful with a grand view of valleys and mountains and tropical plants on the property. We ate breakfast and dinner at the lodge restuarant. Breakfast was outstanding, and the dinner menu was extensive. Every dinner was delicious and expertly prepared."

"Staff here was absolutely wonderful. Thank you all for your help with our luggage. lots of stairs in this place. The Infinity pool was beautiful. At the pool bar they make incredible caiperaina. The restaurant was delicious. And the staff there was incredible as well. We had two different rooms here because of the stair situation. And both of them were so beautiful. The road coming up here is very rocky with lots of potholes so a four-wheel drive would be best. Parking is at a minimal for their guests. Had some issues with that for sure. We go in and out a lot. "

"Hotel Belmar was magnificent! Everything about it was pristine. The service was so friendly. Staff were so genuinely kind, helpful, & welcoming. They upgraded our room & the view from the balcony was gorgeous. I really cant say enough great things about this place. We ate at the restaurants & everything was delicious. Location was perfect to the cloud forest reserve. "
