First VRBO experience

But it won't be our last. Our lodging was very nice - everything you could expect or ask for. Spotless, nicely furnished, some special amenities (local and/or organic). We very much appreciated the heated floor. Our hosts kept in touch with us to make sure we were comfortable and our needs were being met. We make this trip every year to see our son and his family. We will definitely consider using this getaway again. Thanks Sandra and Mike

Look no further

If you’re a party of two, stop and book this place now!! Sandra and Mike have done an outstanding job providing everything you need to make your Alaskan stay not just memorable, but comfortable and simple. Their wealth of knowledge on the area combined with their genuine hospitality and kindness only adds to an already perfect little setup. The location is a reasonable drive from Anchorage, just a couple hours from Denali, and surrounded by beautiful mountains. Walmart and Target are just a 10-12 minute drive, and at the end of your day the Knik River makes for stunning sunset watching. Save yourself the time and book knowing you have made a decision that will lead to countless memories!

Just like home

We cannot say enough positive about our stay. My (then) fiancé and I booked this location bc of its proximity to the helicopter tour we had booked to elope. From the beginning Sandra and Mike were attentive and so helpful (almost not letting me book bc Sandra was messaging w my fiancé on her own app and didn’t want me to get the booking #loyalty) It’s exactly as listed- heated floors, beautiful bathroom and smart decor. More privacy than a studio however most comfortable with two guests. However- It’s more than that. Sandra and Mike made sure we had everything we needed, recommendations for days and were just so kind. When we visit again we will be staying with Mike and Sandra!
