Great property, great location

Great property. Lots of space. Beautiful views from wrap around balcony. Building is very close to beach so no long walks. No, it's not perfect, but very liveable, has some knicks and scratches but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Love that Schooners is next door for easy meals.

Looked like a first time DIYer got hired with a fake resume.

First the good- Checkin was super easy, Parking garage is nice- location is away from from the main strip and located near St Andrews and is a few minutes from Winn Dixie and Publics as well as numerous restaurants. The room allowed us to have a beach chair which saved 40$ a day. The size of the facilty was nice. The wrap around balcony was outstanding, and offered a view of the ocean and the city. The Bad: For the price of the unit, it would seem as though the owner would take a bit more pride in how the facilities are taken care of. As the title statethere were numerous areas that looked like someone bought some walmart tool and claimed to be an expert and got hired. That might actually be a knock on some beginner DIYers. The lack of care about doing a job blows my mind, however, an outlet on the wall had a gap on the side, paint was still on the frame of the door, a sprinkler was put in and the large hole it fit in was left open, closet wall had random paint left on it, thr baseboards looked awful, the curtains over the door were moved and the previous spots were left unpainted, fridge handle was swapped over and the holes were noticeable on the fridge, the pull out matress or cushions had a smell of urine on the, food pieces were left under the edge of the carpet, the handle on the kitchen sink was awful, thedishwasher was outdated, and this part was not the rooms fault but the buildings, but I dont like my 1 yr old having to smell skunk (herbs) on the balcony.

Great view, convenient location but Here is what we encountered and why I won’t be back here. 1- This property does not have near enough parking for the number of units they have. 2- Our room was not ready at check-in. We went up 30 minutes after official check-in time and found maintenance putting together new couches. I can appreciate new furniture, however, in the listing it said there was a double sofa bed, which we were counting on.3- I did read the reviews but they were a year old so I mistakenly assumed they were outdated- this room is VERY poorly renovated. The paint is sloppy, trim is busted/unfinished, grout in tile is busted, laminate flooring planks are messed up, the main master shower door is basically falling apart, and the kitchen cabinets are worn. Photos included. 4- The kitchen is not at all well equipped as stated. There’s not much to work with if you want to make your own meals beyond mac n cheese or eggs. 5 - Unit was clean enough but could use a deep clean. Tile, grout, blinds, corners, baseboards, were dusty/grimy. 6- Anyone with mobility issues you need to know that there is NO onsite ramp access to the beach here, it is ONLY steps. If you have a wagon, wheelchair, or issues with steps you have to walk down to the nearest public beach access to access via a ramp. And while I’m mentioning public beach access- KEEP THAT IN MIND because it means more people encroaching on your space. There are much better options out there for this price.

There are better values out there.

Great stay

Beautiful views on this wrap around balcony. To the south- the gulf, to the north the bay, petties at the state park , and Panama City. The facility was clean and well kept. The room was spacious. Loved the location! Great stay!

Favorite Beach but not favorite condo

Seychelles has been my favorite condo in PCB since 2008. This time, however, the condo didn’t match the description. It was dated and the paint job looked like a 7 year old tried to hurry and cover up a mess they made, the refrigerator door felt like it would fall off each time you opened it. Neither balcony doors would lock. Maintenance showed up in our room twice without being called. It made me very uneasy considering we had 3 preteen-teenage girls with us. The gate to and from the beach wasn’t secure, you could come in and out without a code. Same for the door leading to the elevators from the pool. We were kicked out of our beach chairs we rented on the beach bc they picked them up 48 hours before the storm was supposed to hit. Closed the pool 48 hours before the storm hit. Basically the last day we had to entertain ourselves outside the condo bc we couldn’t spend time on the beach or at the pool. Additionally, we left a day early due to the storm, but the host refused to refund a portion of our money over a natural disaster we couldn’t control. Worst experience at Seychelles since 2008. I think I’ll move on to another condo down the beach next year.

Needs attention

Let me start with the 1 positive... view! Love the corner unit and windows. Other than that these owners need a major overhaul of this unit. There is a maintenance issue with almost everything in the unit. It was very dirty when we arrived. Floors were disgusting. Countertops sticky and dirty. Dishes were put away sticky and dirty with food still on them! Stale smell upon entry. Balcony floor gross..needs cleaning. I have stayed at numerous units at Seychelles and have used Resort Quest for many years with always a positive stay. Vacasa needs to step it up! This is by far the worse unit I have ever stayed in.

Was okay - not great for 1309

We rarely get to go to vacation as a family and we finally got to. We LOVE the Seychelle resort, however, this room was disappointing. It did not feel like a get-away. First thing is the smell, I don't know if someone had left fish out and they tried to clean it up - we had to air it out. Then it looks like they were in the middle of repainting and redoing the room and just left it unfinished(big unpainted spots). Some of the décor had tags on it - pillows too????! So it didn't feel relaxing at all. One of the stools had a hole in it, the mattresses are old and uncomfortable (I thought I would finally get sleep but just didn't happen :(. ) The kitchen didn't have a pan - had everything else but a pan Some good things is that it does accommodate 5 adults . There is a good sized table to eat at as a family. The view is great - the balcony wraps around. I did call the office for help but they first reached out as they were closing - they were kind of helping but not really more like dancing around the issue. They wanted me to take photos of what was bothering me - how do I take a photo of an uncomfortable squeaky mattress?? or the fish smell?? They were just beating around the bush. I didn't want to make a big stink because I just wanted to relax. We paid good money to relax- not get more back and neck pain. That really sucks because we usually have a great time at Seychelles over the years. They really dropped the ball this time, sadly.

Not Quite

For the price, I expected more from the condition of the property and the "resort". We had several issues and the management company addressed them during our stay. But in the end, as much as I loved the view, we all agreed, we wouldn't stay again. We (6) arrived to what appeared to be incomplete renovations. Although minor, they were still visible. There were stains, unwashed bedding, broken bunkbed ladder with a sharp metal edge, broken patio furniture, and a buildup on the sliding glass doors that looked like mold. It actually looked as if no one had stayed in the unit for some time. I contemplated sharing feedback because management resolve the issues they could, loved the space, and I LOVED THE VIEW; but somethings you can't overlook for the price I paid. Suggestions: Complete the renovations before allowing new rentals, get a new cleaning crew, include clearing of corrosion on the sliding doors a monthly maintenance task or just replace them.

Perfect room for family of 6

Cleaning and furniture conditions were bad.

Ok location itself was wonderful but the floor was sticky, utensils and dishes were dusty, table chairs were cracked. I dont normally leave reviews and i was ok but my guests were very diappointed. Dont get me wrong vacasa staffs were wonderful and even asked me what they can do and i said nothing because it was too late to clean stuff inside since we were occupied already. Everything was ok but cleanliness. Oh almost forgot hugh cockroaches everywhere.

Great week at the PC beach

The condo is away from the dense part of PC Beach but a great beach location with restaurants and activities that are near by. The unit is well furnished, quiet, and clean with fantastic beach and gulf views. You will not be disappointed here.
