This beach-goer's retreat features a private balcony where you can watch the sunset each evening, an unbeatable location within a short stroll of Pier Park, and on-site amenities that include two lagoon-style swimming pools, a cabana bar, and a fitness center.

The Calypso Resort & Towers sits directly on the white sand of Panama City Beach, allowing you to spend your days swimming, kayaking, and collecting seashells. You'll be just around the corner from Pier Park, a local landmark that's home to 124 stores, a variety of restaurants, an IMAX theater, live music performances, laser tag, a Dave & Busters, and so much more. Bring your fishing pole over to the Russell-Fields Pier a few hundred feet west, catch a dolphin or sea lion show at Gulf World half a mile southeast, and end the day with a tropical drink or two at Sharky's Beachfront three-quarters of a mile southeast.

The location was perfect because it sits right off the elevator. We loved that due to how slow the elevators could be on the property. The property was clean and we had a great view in the morning of the sunrise from the pier.

Everything was perfect! The unit was clean, had updated appliances, extra beach chairs & umbrellas. The balcony was awesome with great views. The only complain I have is the bed was uncomfortable. My fiancée seemed to not mind so it’s just my opinion. We would definitely stay here again!:)

The room was nice but a little dusty. The view of the beach was amazing! The only real concern was that the sliding doors did not lock! Also I was kind of disappointed that there was a full kitchen with no seasonings, not even salt or pepper and a coffee pot with no filters, sugar or powdered creamer... Other than that it was nice and we enjoyed our time!

My husband and I were disappointed with this property. The furniture was dirty and run down. The balcony furniture needs to be replaced as it was rotted. Nothing was comfortable to sit on. The decor is dated. The condo has a queen size bed with an uncomfortable mattress that the sheets will not stay on. The bathroom with the toilet smells like urine. The reviews and pictures online are so deceiving.

Nice place but was told we would get link for parking day before check-in. Did not receive then spent hours on phone trying to talk to someone live on phone and through text couldn’t get any where. Finally they gave us a temporary parking pass and had to go see HOA manager next day to get straight.

View was great. Condo is open to public and owner doesn't provide chairs and umbrella like others do. People put their personal chairs in front of rented ones amd ruins your view... furniture is old and needs updating. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were flat. Balcony chair was rusted and bent. Mold in the shower. I could go on...

The accommodations were ample for my family’s needs. We’ve enjoyed staying at Calypso for several years now but…It was a bit disappointing that the floors were very dirty (my feet were black on the bottom) along with the stained rug in the living area. And that poor sofa and recliner needs to go back to the thrift store. They are worn out and you feel like you’re about to sit on the floor. The bed in the bedroom was quite rickety, too. For the amount of money we paid to rent your condo we expected so much more!

This unit was in horrible condition. Furniture was filthy. Dressers were chipped. End tables chipped. Rugs were filthy. Recliner was broken. Dishwasher didn’t close. Mold in shower. Pillows were yellowed and smelt of mildew. Ceiling fan in bedroom did not work. Tile grout was filthy. Patio door had watery dirt film in between the panes. We were very disappointed since we have stayed in other units on prior trips!

We were so impressed , from the time we arrived Vacasa made sure everything was was okay as soon as we checked in , the condo was very clean , elevators were fast , i mean most of the time one elevator had the door already open , security is great also , we have stayed somewhere else for years prior to calypso , and we tried them on this short trip , and we’ll be staying at calypso going forward!!

We love Calypso & usually stay here a few times a year…. First time working with Vacasa & I had a great experience! The room needs some love- the bed is uncomfortable, one of the sinks in the master bathroom wasn’t working properly & you definitely need to bring some extra blankets. I didn’t call abt the sink since we didn’t need it.

The condo was great, just off the elevator. I just loved the view from the 15th floor. The condo was very clean. Just a short walk to pier park and Donavan's bar. Customer service was very helpful when we needed them, so thank you for all your help. We would love to stay here again. Thanks for sharing your place with us. A great place to see the ocean and relax.
