One of the reasons I chose to stay at Green Studio Apartment was because it had kitchen facilities and a washing machine in the apartment which was great. The TV didn’t work and I had to buy cleaning product to clean the shower as it was ‘pink’ with scum but everything else was fine for what I needed. "It is very new and modern. Is in Central downtown close to many restaurants, a Mini Mart across the street and easy walking (even .for us 80 year olds) to the art market and Monkey Forest. Landlord is responsive to requests."

"Beautiful room looking over the sea. Everything was clean, functional and well decorated. Location is convenient and close to restaurants, shops and beaches. There are steep stairs to access the room so I wouldn't recommend this for older people but anyone who can climb stairs for 5-10 min will be fine. They will help you with your luggages, but best to keep them light! "

"But there is no restaurant close by and even walking 30 minutes either way, there isn’t one! Outside of this small (hotel)? there is nothing! Hard to walk on almost non existent sidewalks if a person could even call them sidewalks? Kids manage the place but they are nice. But for the price it is good value. "This villa is so lovely!! Decorated so nicely! Entire crew and staff were so hospitable! Welcomes me with tea and fruit! Amazing natural light coming in through the apartment. Near tourist center so easy to look day tours to other areas in Bali. A little tricky to get to the exact building the first time but after you're good! Within 5 mins walking of a lot of nightlife and dining but still secluded."

"Villa Kayu Raja is in a good location, but not really walkable to restaurants or the beach, especially at night. The sidewalk ends a bit before the villa, so you’re left walking in the busy street. The villa itself is nice, but I was unimpressed with the private pool. It is very small and the yard itself is deceiving in size from the pictures. Virtually no sunlight comes into the pool area as well, so the pool is a bit chilly and you aren’t able to do any sun tanning. The price is a bit steep...
