"Amazing property. It is exactly as imagine. Old but well kept lodge with great staff and it was a really great spot close to Kings Canyon entrance. Beds were a bit low and not to firm. "

"We absolutely loved our stay here at the Lodge! Yes you have to carry your luggage up some stairs, but we had a wonderful time. Friday night we ate dinner at the restaurant, and Sat we grabbed some pizza and beers after a day of hiking. Staff was very helful and also let us check in early. We will definitely be back since we missed crystal cave."

"I didn't have to meet anyone which is a plus. It is a little expensive for what you get. Room was clean. Room is small. Don't expect luxury like vegas hotels. It served it's purpose for rest for the next day. "

The yard and outdoor space were one of our favorite parts of the property. It was such a lovely place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Everything felt very clean, stylish, and thoughtfully arranged. What made the stay even more memorable was how kind and welcoming everyone was. The neighbors were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even helped us start a fire and kept checking to see if we needed anything, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made us feel very welcome. Overall, everything about this place was perfect — the cleanliness, the beautiful property, the atmosphere, and the people. We had a fantastic experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!"

"This was a great place to stay--very quiet, roomy, and cozy. The hosts were welcoming and very responsive, we asked for more matches and they brought them immediately! The furnace made the home very cozy and the hosts provided more than enough firewood. Kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, as well as the bathroom and living room. We would love to come back and stay here again! Thank you Peggy!"
