"We chose these apartments for their location as we were getting an early ferry to Kalymnos. Although dated our apartment was clean and comfortable with very good air conditioning. Our only issue was an unpleasant smell coming from the shower room but we were only staying one night so we didn't report it."

"I would just like to thank both Nikos and Katerina for all their help on my time at Kontessa, the view and location of this property is lovely, Guya who deals with housekeeping was so lovely and helpful, unfortunately I feel ill 2 days before the end of my holiday and Katerina could not do enough to help me.. "We booked a twin bedded studio with kitchen area. We were given a tiny dark room with one bed and a balcony facing an internal courtyard and staff’s homes. We asked numerous times for the room we had paid for and finally moved 24 hours later. This room was still nothing like the photos on Expedia and the air conditioning was broken. "I absolutely loved my stay at Aphrodite Studios with hosts Danielle and Herre, as well as their beautiful daughter Flo. I was welcomed as if part of the family and felt very much at home. They exceeded my expectations in every way. The space is perfectly located, just outside of Masouri with views of Telendos. "Ideally situated, just 10 minutes walk to the harbour front where there is plenty of choice of bars and restaurants. The hotel is very clean, pool is great, the food is very good and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms could do with being updated and the owners who took the hotel over recently recognise this and said it will be done soon. I will definitely stay there again. "

"The private entrance to the property was the first indication we had chosen for something special for our stay on Kos. "Very spacious clean 2 room apartment with huge bed! Attractively tiled bathroom. Lovely views across Kefalos bay. Just off the beach road so very quiet. Beautiful gardens. Hosts are very helpful. The shower was probably the most powerful I've experienced in Greece, though use at full power gives a rather wet bathroom floor. Kitchen facilities very good. Might be worth considering adding insect screens to windows."

"A nice hotel but as it was the start of the season, a little disorganised in terms of the rooms, what was provided etc. The first room allocated was under the bar and very noisy at night. There were also constant issues with corridor lighting not being turned off. We moved rooms eventually, which did help. However, overall I wouldn't go back because of the noise issue and the general quality of some of the rooms."

"We spent 2 weeks at this property and were able to walk to main thoroughfares and transportation hubs, a large grocery store, restaurants, cafes, and beaches. Staff was friendly and helpful.
