Relaxing Vacation

The Villa was perfect! Great pools and location. Everything we needed from the very comfortable king sized bed to the private patio near the pool with a short private walkway to the beach… we totally enjoyed our stay.

Location is Excellent

Property is as described, location is excellent. Much better option than staying at a hotel. Very clean and had all of the supplies needed for cooking meals and a blender for slushy drinks.

Great Beach front location

Our 1 bedroom, 1 and 1/2 bath, with full kitchen was everything we needed. The unit was literally 10 steps from the pool and only a 2 minute walk to the beach. The restaurant and bar on site was convenient and the location of the property was within walking distiance to all the Paridise Island attractions. An 1 hour walk or 10 minute cab ride got you to downtown Nassau. We would definitely stay here again.

Modest with some disappointments

The location is good with the bar and restaurant nearby. The Ocean did not cooperation until the last two of our seven days. It was very rough, too much for us to swim. The Kitchen was functional but groceries were hard to get. We ate out mostly. The disappointments were with the remotes for the air-conditioning and for the TVs. We could not change the temperature or turn off the air conditioning which was too cold upstairs and down. Also the TV remotes were impossible and the TVs useless. The owner's friend came and magically made one TV work but we could not get it to function. We will not return since we made arrangements for a timeshare in a complex with a beautiful ocean view for the next few years. I should say the location was good for walkers. It is an easy walk to Atlantis and the beach is nice to walk long distances.

Perfect

Everything we needed. Well supplied (even though we never cooked). Peaceful and quick walk to the beach which was not crowded like down at the RIU. Check in was smooth. We arrived at 2:30 and went to Viola's for a nice cold beer and appetizers. We had breakfast at Viola's every morning and stopped by there a couple of times for adult beverages. The food was very good. Service was slow at times, but we just chilled. Friendly staff, as well as the front office. Our ride from the airport was a bit stressful. The taxi driver was driving very fast and we drove through some sketchy areas. He was also grumpy. The taxi ride was 50 (plus a tip). The taxi ride back was absolutely wonderful. Dani (Mr. Slim's wife - they own the taxi service) was a pleasure. She drove us back along the water and pointed out some of the historic areas. We walked down to the grocery and liquor store for a few items, which was just about a six minute walk and we had dinner one night at Anthony's which was very good and very popular. The other nights we walked over to Atlantis and went to the comedy club, had dinner at Fish by Jose Andres (which was wonderful) and Carmine's (not impressed - food was cool and came out very quickly). I would definitely stay at Sunrise again. Highly recommended!!! We lucked out with perfect weather every day as well.

Perfect Spot for Family Getaway!

I know everyone says this but I don’t normally leave reviews unless it was really good or really bad. I almost don’t want to tell everyone about this little slice of paradise. The place was exactly how it looked online. It was perfect for two adults and two children. The distance to the beach was an easy walk, even if doing it multiple times a day. We found ourselves walking down for the sunrise each morning which was special. The beach out front the place was never crowded even when the resorts next door were lined with umbrellas and chairs we felt like we had our own private beach and water access. There was a big umbrella that we took down to the beach each day to avoid buying one. Only downfall was the beach chair situation, wish the unit had actual beach chairs instead of tailgate chairs lol. We made it work and it certainly didn’t take away from the trip. The guys selling the chairs and umbrellas are nice and seemed to work with people on the rates. Most days chairs were $15 each and umbrellas $30. Violas was good not great when it came to the food. Nice that it was onsite for quick bites when needed. The pools were perfect for us, kids enjoyed having them right there. We walked to The Atlantis one night which was nice. You can walk to a small grocery store but a little far when walking back to the unit with groceries. Not a far drive to one of our favorite places to eat, The Poop Deck. We also made the trip to Goldie’s in the fish fry district which was unreal food.

Cozy, clean, quiet, a few steps to the pool, under 200 steps to the beautiful white sandy beach, bar/restaurant on premises, friendly staff and the Host Nalini answered all questions in a timely fashion. Atlantis Casino & Resort was walking distance away & the ferry to Blue Lagoon beach was a very short taxi ride away.

We loved the location- the beach was right behind the property and we could walk there any time. It has a small porch area overlooking the pool. We enjoyed our breakfast outside. The restaurant on site offered delicious food. We could walk to Atlantis and the shops but the resort was quiet and we loved that.
