"The guest house rooms are spacious and well appointed. You have a view of the lagoon. Breakfast is provided and you may order a hot breakfast. The attendant was regularly available but not very knowledgeable about what tourists might like to do or see. For instance she recommended an excellent restaurant but did not mention that it was BYO. Knysna is promoted as the place to stay on the Garden route but I don’t know why. The property could do more to inform their guests about the benefits of staying in Knysna. Brochures are provided but communications is lacking. "

"We just spent two nights at St James and we loved it. It it right in front lot the Knysna lagoon and offers a great boat ride to all guests, which we enjoyed. We were upgraded on arrival by the very kind staff who man the reception. Knysna is a very interesting destination, we loved the Two Heads excursion to the ocean. We recommend Dt James to all travellers to Knysna and we would like to thank the staff for the very profesional and kind atttitude."
