"Disappointing Breakfast, Thoughtful Management Response My breakfast at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort on October 25 was disappointing, but the assistant manager’s kindness made a difference. My server came across as impatient and dismissive, and service was inattentive. I asked another server for a straw and had to repeat my request for water. A misunderstanding arose when I gestured toward my Americano, intending to request hot water to warm it up, as had been done the previous day. Instead, I received another coffee and an additional charge. I recognize that my gesture could have been misunderstood, but I would have appreciated clarification. When I questioned the charge, I felt argued with rather than heard. A manager removed the charge, but my concerns about the service remained. The assistant manager then listened carefully, explained the coffee policy, acknowledged my previous experience, and recognized that the exchange should have been handled differently. She offered to cover breakfast and provide a complimentary poolside drink. I appreciated the gesture, but her kindness and willingness to listen mattered most. For a resort of this caliber, I expected consistently gracious service. Her thoughtful response brought genuine hospitality to an otherwise frustrating morning."

"Great place. Noise was a bit of an issue related to a function. The function did finish promptly at 10pm but made it difficult to relax in room and sleep before that time. The staff were very helpful in facilitating room move but did not Solevento the issue. Unfortunately a common theme with many hotels no matter how much you pay"
