"Accommodation is excellent, lovely to be met by the host who did an essential shop for us as we were arriving late. Airy rooms with air conditioning. The pool is great for a dip after a day sightseeing in Porto. The steps into the pool were very slippery and wobbly so care is needed entering and exiting the pool. "Our stay was made especially pleasant by the helpfulness and friendliness of the owner. He could not have been better. Because it was an old stone house the availability of electrical outlets for charging phones etc and for appliances was very limited. Perhaps the charm of an old house. The swimming pool was a wonderful attraction on hot days."

"Licinia and her husband were wonderful hosts, easy to communicate with and resolving any issues promptly. The pool.ans outdoor area was great though the weather was bad during our stay so we didn't get to use it.. easy drive to Porto too! The only thing we found was the listing says spa pool and fitness centre which must be a mistake as there is not either of those available a this house."

"Overall this was a good stay. The riverfront, Cockburn’s & a fantastic Fado restaurant is within easy walking distance Our choice of room was double-booked & we were given the larger house. The ac had been turned off because the nights were cool. The problem was the day was very warm & the house was stuffy and we were told that we couldn’t leave the door open. The owner turned the ac on later in the night & it was very pleasant afterward."

"This is an amazing house on an amazing property. The house is well appointed and spacious. The pool is enormous, and overlooks the river. We enjoyed watching the tour boats go up and down the river, and passing the goats and chickens on the road. The host has made it very comfortable. The only downside is it is an extremely twisty and steep road down to the house. But totally worth it for the serenity upon arrival."

"What an amazing stay! Our party of 9 had a wonderful time at the Stone House - and didn't want to leave. Our only regret was not visiting when the pool was open in summer - so we'll have to go back! "Excellent customer Service with neat and clean property. Closed to Shopping Mall center. Very convenient to go around using Uber or Concierge services. Will definitely recommend to anyone. Except my TV didn't work at all during my stay although I brought it to the attention of staff 3 times since the day I checked in. Each time Maintenance personnel told me that it will be fixed soon, but it never happened Staff should take care of stuff like this especially when guest is staying for 6 nights, otherwise I enjoyed my stay."
