My boyfriend and I made use of them every day we could: to watch the sunrise from the water or to just paddle over to a nearby beach bar. The honor-system snack bar was a nice touch too. This place was exactly what I was looking for after a couple of hectic days at carnaval in Rio. "The Inn is super fantastic. The crew is wonderful. The place sensational. I just suggest the owners check the sewage system in room #4 we stayed in. The stench was unbearable."

"The staff at this hotel are lovely and the breakfast is amazing. It’s spotlessly clean and very quiet. The Juliana room has a comfortable bed and lovely views and I never saw a single mosquito but there are narrow internal spiral stairs to navigate which are tricky with luggage or if you have limited mobility. The staff do help carry luggage. As a solo traveler I cannot give a high score for the location though as it is a little deserted at night and the road naturally floods during the day when...

"It was quite different than the advertised pictures in the website. We could not bath in the pool as it was not precisely clean. We had to find a paid parking in a different pousada as it was not possible to find a space outside. The breakfast was not very good as we had to wait to find a space to sit down because all the tables were occupied, they did not serve eggs. Electricity did not work all morning so we had a cold water shower. "

"Really nice rooms, clean and as advertised. Property is very nice and a perfect distance from the old town of Paraty. Pool is large and the service from staff was excellent. Would definitely recommend and return. "
