"I have stayed here a few times before and it’s a great budget hotel in a great walkable location. I have always had a good experience here. This time I had a car and (especially for non-European drivers) the parking garage is really tight but it’s clean and easy to navigate."

"The rooms are quite nice, especially the quality of the furnishings. There are several room types, including a townhouse style room. Staff is extremely helpful and pleasant. The downside is the restaurant in the bar. Poor selection of food and not well prepared; very slow service. They are closing for renovation in January; Possibly the restaurant will change? There is also a high end restaurant on the property but they were booked when we were there."

"This house is just delightful! Beautifully and tastefully appointed, super clean and efficient, and located conveniently to shopping and food options. A beautiful patio provided for a relaxing space for hanging out. Our host Viola was over the top helpful and obliging to us. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a truly French experience!"

"Our stay at Hotel Grand Francais was fantastic. One of the most underrated elements was that there was an amazing cocktail bar associated with the Hotel that was standout. The location felt very secure, was convenient to a ton of restaurants. The room was very clean and service was great. The breakfast spread was also delicious. Cafes and restaurants seemed to open quite late, so would recommend taking advantage of the breakfast. Would absolutely stay again when in Bordeaux!"

"It's pretty well located and well run. It's a little bit run down feel but not too bad. It's close to a tram stop and takes about 20 minutes to walk into the old town centre. "
