"We had a large group of friends holiday with families. We rented the entire accommodation. It was clean and tidy and a great location. The views are amazing. A good communal area so we could all be together for cooking meals. The pool area was beautiful and clean. You do need a car for access as it is quite tucked away in the mountain. Local shops and supermarket were easy to drive to. A day trip to pisa/lucca were easy aswell. Overall a great stay and no issues at all. The hosts also popped in and were very pleasant to meet. "

"A Perfect Tuscan EscapeWe had a truly memorable stay at this beautiful villa in Tuscany. It was perfectly suited to our family, with spacious and well-appointed bedrooms and bathrooms that made for a very comfortable base. The outdoor spaces were particularly impressive—plenty of room to relax, read, or simply enjoy the peace, with several little sun traps, offering a new favorite spot every few hours.The pool was clean, well-maintained, and ideal for cooling off after the various activities we discovered through Friends of Tuscany including mountain biking, wine tasting, trips to various towns and villages and a wonderful lady who came to the villa to teach us to make ravioli and cook for us. A major positive is the view. Looking out across the valley was like watching a living painting. As the sun moved through the sky, shadows flowed across the tree-covered hills and revealed different details of the villages and buildings tucked into the mountainsides. It was endlessly beautiful, and we often found ourselves just sitting and watching it change.A truly special place to unwind and enjoy the magic of Tuscany."

"The house is an absolutely stunning location. Breath taking views every morning, even if the weather did always play ball. There are some lovely areas to walk in and explore nearby and a few very nice local restaurants but these can get booked up very quickly. Even when it was raining we enjoyed our stay as the dense forests provided plenty of cover and there are excellent trips to caves and nearby cities such as Lucca and Barga that are easy drives. The roads in the valley are quite narrow but traffic is generally very light so you I'd recommend not renting an SUV as it makes it much more challenging to pass other cars at points. "

"We booked this property for two adults and our two younger children and spent a year hoping two grown up children, a partner and a grandchild would come along too. The property manager was very flexible with not knowing numbers until shortly before we arrived. When we were all there at the same time there still felt like so much room. The upstairs areas were a particular help as they are totally separate - great for our eldest son, partner and baby who all woke up very early! The beds were all extremely comfortable and the bathrooms were lovely. There was one fan which was great for the room with the baby, but because it was so hot it would have been great if there was another fan for the other side of the house. We spent very little time inside because the pool area was absolutely amazing. We cooked at the villa several times and there was plenty of space for us all to sit at the outside dinner table. We loved that the pool was cleaned twice each week and that the sun loungers were comfortable. Loads of glasses, cups, plates etc and even pool toys. The housekeeper, Daniella, greeted us and popped over a couple of times during our stay with fresh vegetables from her garden and an Italian dish that was a great addition to our dinner that night. Her whole family were lovely and would wave each time we left the villa. Their house is at the bottom of the drive and over the road so the villa is completely private. It’s in an ideal location to visit many areas! "

"Wij hebben een aangenaam verblijf gehad in het huis met idyllisch uitzicht! Het huisje was zeer proper, de check-in verliep vlot! Onze hond heeft zeer erg van de tuin kunnen genieten! Jammer genoeg was het weer wat wisselvallig (we weten dat we dit kunnen verwachten in de bergen) waardoor we het zwembad slechts 2 van de 6 dagen hebben kunnen gebruiken aangezien dit niet verwarmd is. In de omschrijving staat dat het huisje privé is maar dat is niet helemaal zo. Vlak naast het huis ligt er een groter vakantiehuis voor 6/7 personen. De tuinen grenzen aan elkaar. Vanaf het zwembad heb je een inkijk naar de andere tuin dus houd er rekening mee dat je niet helemaal alleen bent. Indien je rustige 'buren' hebt is dit helemaal ok maar ik kan me voorstellen dat, indien er een grote groep jongeren of mensen met kinderen het huis ernaast huren dat de rust wel heel wat minder is. Volgens de omschrijving verwachten huurders dit uiteraard niet... Een minpuntje voor mensen met een hond: er is een klein stukje van de omheining naast het zwembad dat niet dicht is. De hond kan er dus gemakkelijk door ontsnappen naar de tuin van de buren. We hebben helaas meermaals onze hond moeten halen hierdoor. Misschien een tip voor de verhuurder om dit verder te omheinen."

"It was our first trip to Italy, and this was the perfect family dwelling. The pictures don't begin to capture the breathtaking Dolomites or the outstanding accommodations! The kitchen is a gem! So convenient and easy to cook. We had a chef come in to fix dinner on our last day, and he loved the kitchen, too. We took walks/hikes on the surrounding trails, and relaxed by the gorgeous pool which, by the way, has beautiful night lighting!! The owner fixed pizza in the outdoor pizza oven one evening, and it was a highlight of our trip with fresh, delicious ingredients and gracious conversation...and fabulous wines. We did not mind the narrow and winding roads on the days we drove to Lucca (90 minutes) or Florence (2.5 hours), but be aware of the challenging driving that we saw as a Tuscan adventure rather than a negative. It's the perfect get-away!"
