"We had a great stay at the Bristol Berlin. Our King Grand room was spacious, beautiful, bright and very quiet. The bed was large and extremely comfortable. The lift was right in front of our room, making it particularly easy to get to the pool. We loved the pool. It was the perfect temperature and a decent size. All the facilities were very clean. We didn’t manage to use the sauna this time, but will definitely do so on our next visit. Breakfast was very good, with a large choice of both sweet and savoury options. All staff were very friendly. The hotel’s location is excellent, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Public transport is also excellent, making it very easy to get around Berlin. We particularly enjoyed biang biang noodles at Wen Cheng a short walk away and would recommend the Ottenthal (Austrian) nearby and Chen Che Teehaus (Vietnamese) in Mitte."

"The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes’ walk from the U‑Bahn station, which made getting around very easy. Breakfast offered plenty of choice, so it was easy to set yourself up for the day. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, but I rated the stay three stars because the breakfast staff were noticeably less welcoming. One lady in particular frequently raised her voice at guests who were in her way and seemed constantly irritated, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. We stayed in a queen room with a balcony, which we appreciated because the rooms were very hot and the air conditioning didn’t seem to work. The downside was the noise from the trains every few minutes, though we eventually got used to it — and with the windows closed, you don’t hear them. The room itself was spacious with a large walk‑in shower. The biggest disappointment was the bed. The mattress was extremely hard, and neither of us managed a restful night’s sleep; we both woke up stiff each morning. Overall: great location, good breakfast options, and a large room. If you like very firm mattresses, this hotel might suit you — but unless the mattress situation changes, we wouldn’t stay again, which is a pity."

"Staff was kind when my door room wouldn't lock and gave complementary water. However the new room didn't have functioning air con as listed. Possibly just broken air conditioning which is common for hotels but it was warm."

Dorint Kurfürstendamm Berlin

"It was a wonderful place to stay in Berlin. Walking distance to so many things including bus and rail service. Staff was wonderful even though I spoke very little German. The breakfast was 5 star as well. I am sure I could have found less expensive places to stay, but I think it was worth it."
