"Just stayed one night the room was very clean but quite basic and the bed was very comfortable . Beer was good and the food was fairly basic with a limited choice which was good in quality

"We had a wonderful stay ā thanks to the lovely and caring staff and the charm of the hotel itself. It looked absolutely beautiful, both in the evening and in the morning. It's a shame we only stayed for one night! The room was very spacious and had everything we needed. The location is truly unique ā peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing break. "The property was located close to the autobahn. It was quiet .the room was comfortable. I needed a room for the night and it fulfilled that function.
An improvement in my opinion would have been an elevator. "

"Really nice property, well kept and clean throughout. Location is really peaceful, quite some way from any towns or villages. Good communications from hosts and easy to access on arrival. The log burner was a lovely touch too.
It's not clear on the listing that the property is upstairs - not a problem for us but would be for anyone with mobility issues. There's no wifi (making it great for a get away from it all stay!) and no microwave.
A guide to the location would have been useful, to show where the wood store/bike shed was (we found it OK though) and how the heating worked."
