"We had a wonderful stay at La Jacotiere. Véronique was a wonderful host. The location is perfect - an easy walk to the shuttle to Mont St-Michel. One thing - there are only a few restaurants in the area, so it may be helpful to book dinner a day in advance."

"WOW, I can't say enough! If you want a perfect place to use as a home base for exploring bretagne, this is it. This second floor room is spacious, clean, safe and comfortable. The living room is tastefully decorated. The location is on the edge of a small village a few kilometers from the highway, close enough to be convenient, but with no traffic or noise. "Bouceel Castle was a splurge stay for my wife and I but we only planned on staying 1 night in this area and it was well worth it. We were so impressed with our room, our view, the grounds, the decor... it was a shame we only booked one night. The highlight of course was learning about the history of the home and it's original owner. Very interesting and very sweet that he took the time to share it with us. What more can I say? " Beautiful place with an amazing view of Le Mont St Michel. Prepare to walk a lot and climb stairs. The breakfast was really good with a good variety of choices. I was able to check in early and checkout late which is extremely convenient due to the train arrival and departure. "

"We loved the hotel. We arrived late but, in the morning, we had a lovely surprise - looking out of our window we saw a very beautiful tranquil setting - the lovely River Selune flowing by the hotel and wildflowers, long grasses, and ancient buildings. The hotel room was clean and spacious, breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious, and the staff were very accommodating. We would highly recommend the hotel."

Great location and value

"Perfect location for visiting Mont St Michel with the shuttle bus stopping right in front of hotel. Alternately you can enjoy the walk, approx 30 min with lovely views. Family of four, stayed in a quadruple room which was very spacious and clean. Great water pressure in shower. Surroundings are peaceful and quiet, just sounds of birds so we slept wonderfully. The breakfast is an excellent value and I’d highly recommend it. I’d stay here again if we come back for another visit "

A nice stay at a dated hotel.

"Overall a good stay at the Relais. We chose this hotel because we wanted to view Mont Saint Michel from our room. The view did not disappoint. The hotel does seem dated but we were told they were in the middle of renovations. We also arrived an hour early and they did not allow us to check in early. The hotel is located right next to a shuttle to Mont Saint Michel which was convenient. "
