The staff and super friendly and helpful. Convenient location across the street from gare du Nord which makes a fantastic option of travelling by train or accessing metro. Very busy and lively and access to many restaurants and mainstream fast food restaurants if that’s your preference. Doesn’t quite give the Parisienne feel long term stay, but for a shorter stay it’s fine.

Perfect location across from the Gare du nord and easy walking to all the main sites. Was noisy, guests not considerate when returning early hours of morning and on a busy road. Breakfast is served in the new hotel around the corner which would recommend paying for. We ate on an evening in the restaurant next door which was also excellent. This is a budget hotel but we were happy with what we paid to be in Paris.

It is directly across from Nord Gare train station to get to the airport. Good option for the end of your journey and you have an early flight the next day. Otherwise, it is not a great neighbourhood. The hotel is no frills and wifi in the rooms is very weak. The room was very clean and the cleaning staff was great. The reception spoke fluent English without a smile, but was efficient.

I liked the area, it was very convenient. Actually not the quiet area but my room was quite.The bathroom had double sinks, which I loved, and it was spacious. If they had an electric kettle and a fridge, I would have been happier.

The property is well located right next to the Gare du Nord station which is very convenient, especially if you have early trains to take. The area is a little bit sketchy but nothing major to worry about in my perspective. The hotel itself was pretty clean and the staff was nice. I would stay again.

Excellent location, directly opposite Gard du Nord. Plenty of options to eat right outside the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and quiet. Breakfast at €9.50 was an excellent value all you can eat buffet. Would definitely recommend for convenient location for the Eurostar.

The hotel was easy to find, right across from the Gare du Nord, very well located. The room was very clean and had A/C! Bathroom was very clean as well. The area around the hotel looks a bit sketchy at night but there were no issues at all. Staff was great and they sell some drinks in the lobby. It also has an elevator!

Very convenient location with restaurants, cafes, bars and excellent transport links. Room clean and comfortable. Immediate vicinity typical of a large international hub.

Great place compared to price

If you look at the price, it is perfect. Its close to metro and train, rooms as totalt fine.. they forgot to clean a couple of days, it got sorted.. its not a 5 star hotel... Its a absolutely decent room that is super central and cheap. I would stay here again

Came from Texas. Hotel is average, bed was kinda hard and pillow not comfortable but not terrible. Front staff can converse in English. Great location to Gare du Nord/Gare de l’Est, which are major train stations. Good cafes/bakeries near by. Rowdy area of Paris so be aware of surroundings. Stores can’t sell alcohol past 5 pm which was a bummer but overall a good 3 nights in Paris. Would visit again!

Worth the money

The hotel’s location is great, right opposite the Gare du Nord, so you can go pretty much anywhere from there. The room was very basic, the bed wasn’t the best, the laminate floor was broken in parts and lifting off, and the bathroom needs a new shower curtain! All that said, the staff were fantastic and really helped us out when we needed to get to the airport at short notice. They were lovely to our daughter and couldn’t do more to help. The price was great, too. I’d definitely stay here again (if they swapped the shower curtain!!).

One front desk staff person was not very friendly—gave us incorrect information about bus schedule and when I pointed that out to him, he started arguing with me instead of apologizing. (The other staff were nice.) Our room was cleaned very late (one day at 5pm, when we had already returned from our trip around the city). Breakfast was not included, and to get it, we had to walk around the corner to a different hotel.

Good for a quick stay for the fearless!

What they don’t tell you is that this hotel is in a very sketchy neighborhood. Be prepared to be dodging drug dealers, pick pockets, and other sketchy people looking to get one over on you. Below the hotel is a rundown abandoned restaurant that is boarded up with homeless people sleeping in front of it every night. Then every day I was there, I had to pay additional taxes that were not communicated in the Hotels.com booking. I gave hotels.com my credit card expecting to be paid in full. Then when you leave the hotel, the front desk clerk will not let you take your room key with you. The architecture is nice. The room was comfortable, decent size for a small room. And the bathroom was fantastic! It was very clean, and had a great rain shower head.
