Fabulous Location!!

The apartment is located near a ton of wonderful cafes and restaurants but is quiet beyond the courtyard doors. Grab take away sandwiches from Cosi (right outside the door) to eat in Jardin du Luxembourg - amazing! Miguel is a great host and even brough us fresh towels and pastries during our stay. The air conditioning unit was a plus during the July heatwave. Just know there are a lot of stairs to get to the apartment but worth it for the location.

Absolutely beautiful loft in the best location possible in Paris. Well appointed kitchen and a bright, airy room. The host was gracious and incredibly helpful. This is a vrbo jewel.

Lofty loft!

My 15 yrs old grandson and I (his grandmere) had the perfect stay. The apartment is exactly as described and the photos accurate. The a/c worked beautifully and were a relief on the hot and humid days, the bathroom and toilet being separate proved a lifesaver considering our family configuration. Same for the bed in the loft and the bed on the living level. On top of that, our host was the most gracious ever, easy to communicate with and very generous with all, even gifting us a delightful breakfast on the morning of our departure. One thing to keep in mind: there is no lift and the 102 steps to the apartment are not for the out of shape. Location-wise: if you are looking for a place in the 6th, this apartment can't be beat. Would give 10 stars if the site would have that option!

Everything you need in the 6th

This gem of an apartment made our stay! The two beds were very comfortable, the tiny kitchen had everything we needed and the two bathrooms (one with a tub and one with a toilet) made getting ready for the day easy. Our host was fantastic and he even treated us to clean towels and breakfast treats towards the end of our stay. The location was the best - grocery store a half block away and ton of food options nearby. Transportation options within blocks! Enjoy!!

Best location for Paris!

Miguel was a fantastic host. His cleaning lady called in sick, so he personally cleaned our unit before we arrived. Upon arrival, here carried my bags up the stairs. (Stairs are wooden, spiral, to the top floor so make sure you are ok with that if you book.) I love that the building and stairs are obviously old, giving it an old-world charm. It’s like the Paris in the movies, but not the big fancy hotel, but the personal regular-people experience. The furnishings are exactly as pictured, though the pull-out couch was a bit old and my oldest son opted to share the loft with the middle son because it was too uncomfortable.I appreciated that the toilet and washer were in a separate room from the bathtub, which has a handheld sprayer to “shower.” We ended up having to use the washer and drying racks, so I was grateful to have them!The location is truly superb. It could not be more ideally located to wonderful cafes and shops of St. Germain des Pres. It’s a 4 minute walk to the Apple Store, but I was also able to find a London to Paris converter for much cheaper at other places, so returned the charger I bought there. It’s also super easy to walk to the Louvre, McDonald’s (my sons really wanted to try European McDonald’s and the quality of ingredients is so much better than America), Arc de Triumphe, Notre Dame, Luxembourg gardens, and more. It was also an easy walk to ride the Batobus back and forth to the Eiffel Tower, and easy access to Big Bus stops, and the subway.

The apartment is in a great location, and the host communicated very well and quickly. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as clean as we’d like and the landlord arrived unannounced to show the place to potential renters. We found out the landlord got the showing date wrong which is fine but it turned us off especially because it was so unexpected. We also never met with the renter/landlord since it was self check in so we didn’t know for sure if the people coming into the unit were who they said they were. Besides the unnerving encounter, the apartment is quiet, near a grocery store, and near bars, restaurants and shopping.

BijouIf you prefer privacy, this loft is open-plan with only a curtain separating the room where you bathe. Read the description details carefully. There are 2 sleeping areas, not conventional "bedrooms".The walls are thin, I could hear the residents next door talking/coughing/etc while in the main floor bed in the alcove.Ask for the wi-fi details, they are not posted. Only 1 device was able to connect to the wi-fi. It's challenging to find an accessible outlet/spot to charge devices. Unlike other places I've rented in Europe - There's no guidance around recycling or rubbish in the kitchen. There's only 1 bin.If you spend time in the gym every week like I do, you'll be fine with all of the steep stairs to get to the top floor. This is common in French heritage buildings, as are the tilted uneven steps.

Amazing location!

The apartment is just as described, and perfectly situated. The neighborhood is lovely, with so many cafes, restaurants, and sites all within walking distance. Miguel is a great host and very responsive, and took great care in cleaning the apartment. We enjoyed our stay very much. There are indeed 102 steps up to the apartment, which ensured we got our exercise each day! :

We hebben genoten het appartement was gezellig en knus .Er zou wel bij de advertentie bij moeten staan dat het on top floor is met 102 traptredes zonder lift . Als je slecht ter been bent of je hebt weinig conditie zoals bv COPD dan is dat niet te doen .Je moet geen boodschap vergeten want dan ben je niet blij

Fantastic Location!

The loft is lovely and Miguel is very sweet. We enjoyed our stay. The location is absolutely amazing! It's near the Notre Dame, Louvre and Bon Marche. The draw back is the 102 stairs to get to the loft, washing machine was broken (very common in Europe) and no shower (tub only).Overall it was a lovely experience!

Outstanding location

Very quant and pleasant apartment. Having two double beds very handy. Wifi/TV all good. Kitchen is basic. It’s a fair climb up the stairs. The location is outstanding.

Cute loft apartment in a wonderful area

There are lots of stairs and it's small, but the cuteness and functionality of the place, and especially the great location in SGdP close numerous cafes, bakeries and brasseries, are well worth it.Our only real issue we had was laundry - the washing machine has a subpar rinse cycle and so we had to use up precious apartment space hanging laundry which took almost our entire stay to dry out.

Centrally Located Lovely Loft

We had such a wonderful stay at this loft! It was in the best location that was steps away from great restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores and a 10 minute walk to the Louvre. The Museum D'Orsay was also nearby. Our family truly enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay again if ever we revisit Paris. Miguel was very accomodating and responsive with any questions we had. He was an amazing host! Thanks again for a great stay!

Great stay

In the heart of 6th on top of cafes and restaurants. However this property is extremely quiet and tranquil inside. Top floor so be prepared to walk up some stairs. We didn’t mind but might be important info to some. The host was great. Felt like a person who genuinely cares about his guests. The place was just as expected. Good value for the location

Sehr guter Standort, aber die Unterkunft ging gerade so

Fangen wir mit dem positiven an!Der Standort, um die Stadt zu erkunden, ist brillant! Auch sonst ist drumherum die Gegend sehr schön - viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und tolle Restaurants!Das Negative, überwiegt leider!Beschrieben wird die Wohnung für eine Nutzbarkeit bis zu fünf Personen? Für bis zu fünf Personen überhaupt nicht möglich! Schon für unsere Familie mit vier Personen überhaupt nicht ausreichend! Ein franz. Bett, ja ok aber das zweite Bett ist schon nur noch für eine Person geeignet! Keine zwei Schlafzimmer wie beschrieben sondern alles nur in einem Raum!"Parkmöglichkeiten vorhanden" diese Aussage ist schon sehr unverfroren! Es gibt dort keine Parkmöglichkeiten.Wir wollten am ersten Abend die angepriesene Spülmaschine nutzen, haben es jedoch sofort verworfen. Es stand noch Geschirr, komplett verschimmelt, drin. Schon allein dieser Umstand, ich habe den Vermieter sofort angeschrieben, hat uns den Kurzurlaub "madig" gemacht. Der Vermieter hat sich auf meine Beschwerde überhaupt nicht gerührt!Die Küchenzeile bestand aus alten verbrauchten Geräten, teilweise defekt! Die Sauberkeit der 1-Raum-Wohnung lies doch sehr zu wünschen! Vorallen unter dem Aspekt einer relativ teuren Buchung!Resumee:- die Umgebung ist hui- die Wohnung ist pfui!

Amazing Location

Miguel was an amazing host and it was the little touches that really made our stay. When we arrived he helped us carry our bags to our flat and brought fresh flowers for our stay. The location was perfect and allowed us to walk or use the metro with ease.

Most amazing day of my life. We had the best time and everyone enjoyed the location and our host. He was such a kind person and had wonderful communication throughout the entirety of our trip and was extremely responsive. We even received breakfast one morning from him, which was very kind. Perfect Parisian Loft

We absolutely loved our stay here. The host was so friendly, kind and helpful! He made the trip very memorable. We also loved the area of St Germaine in the 6th. It’s lively, amazing food on every corner and artsy. It was very quiet once inside the courtyard and building. The apartment is in the 5th floor and the stairs could be challenging for someone who doesn’t walk a lot, as they tilt in a bit. For us it just added to the charm. We would definitely stay here again.
