"We arrived really late in the evening but the owners were very friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful, clean and has a wonderful atmosphere with lots of little places to sit outside in the garden, a lot of flowers. "could not have been a better stay. After watching an episode of No Reservations we were inspired to visit Antica Corte Pallavicina where Anthony Bourdain sampled some of the best ham in the world. This place did not disappoint. The estate dates back over 700 years and oozes charm from its painted parlors to its expansive working farm. Rooms are comfortable and restaurants are spectacular. "I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel. It’s clearly just been renovated and is in excellent condition. Whilst in the centre the walk from the hotel to the main centre ( 10 minutes ) is through an ‘interesting’ area , not unsafe but definitely didn’t feel comfortable. The room I had was a duplex which I wasn’t aware of when I booked with the toilet downstairs which was strange as was in the hotel basement . There was an emergency exit door which is fine but they should state clearly it’s a one way door . I also felt the cheap wall hair dryer was very dated and not functional for a 5 star hotel . And thanks for being Pet friendly and not chargi by extra . "
