"The place was just fantastic, it had everything yet a minimalistic feel to it. The trek up the hill is a bit high but you get used to it. "Pros: Kind, responsive property managers, close to beach and local food nearby. Cons: Roaches. I was beyond mortified to have had my leftovers in a to-go box in the refrigerator and upon opening to Re-heat a cockroach about 1 1/2 - 2 inches long scurried out!!! Everything we had, that we’d opened we threw out. Upon leaving the room, at about 3:45a we were packing and cleaning our dishes and saw again baby roaches rushing to hide into the walls which confirmed there are roaches in the unit....

"The house is large and and comfortable and in a beautiful natural setting . The view is wonderful and the property is visited daily by monkeys, toucans, iguanas and macaws. The Bandera Beach 30 minutes away is large , wonderful and with few visitors. And one can access all sort of tours to other attractions nearby. "

"Great house! So clean. Great location. Concierge very attentive. Trail outside the front door to graffitied abandoned hotel a must. Zero complaints regarding house. Just to provide heads up to others… we experienced significant traffic from airport to house making drive a bit more than expected.
