"Lots of steps"

"Sadly this was not the right accomodation for us. Stunning views but out a bit of the way so you’ll be travelling to and from a bit if you want to go out and do stuff, on gravel road etc. For us, the apartment did not feel super cosy or comfy and the furnishings weren’t as premium as expected based on the reviews. It was also quite shady inside - these were the things we were looking for in our weekend away. Beautiful spot, secluded and quiet and the outdoor bath was a lovely extra. "

"Room was clean, we had all the essentials. We were just a small walk to the beautiful beach and good dining. We took city busses, and the stop was just in front of our hotel. Front desk attendant was VERY helpful, friendly and kind."

"This is a once-in-a-lifetime rental. Large beach house with a private beach on the Pacific Ocean. Nicest place we have EVER stayed (outrageously expensive, fancy hotels included). Hosts were very communicatative, accomodating and responsive. Everything about the place, including the welcoming vibe of the host, is FIRST CLASS.I'll probably regret saying this, because it may make it so popular it will make it difficult for me to rent again, but if this pops up on your search, DON'T THINK TWICE--BOOK IT IMMEDIATELY!"

"Very clean and comfortable accommodation and well located. Easy walk to the beach (downhill). Only about 1 km to the EcoZip zip line facility. Easy to reach on public bus. Met Steve (the owner) when I first arrived. Very nice guy. Our paths didn’t cross much after that as I was busy exploring the island."

"Absolutely stunning spot, with everything we needed and more. Beautiful view, bird life to watch, peaceful, beautifully fitted out. Having the car to tootle around in was a total bonus. Highly recommend! "

"We had a lovely visit and can’t wait to return. Pros: the rental agent/team were amazing. We had flights cancelled and ended up arriving a day late and they were so accommodating. Plus they were very responsive to questions during our stay. Cons: the house is very creeky. Charming but it’s tough to sleep while others are awake—unless they’re in the guest house. The driveway is extremely steep. I know it’s common for the island but it can be intimidating. "
