"I’ve been saying here for nearly ten years. Aside from the stunning location, I appreciate that I can make my trip as busy or as quiet as I want, and there is something for every interest: hiking on one of the Cobscook Trails, grabbing a beer and listening to live music at Lubec Brewing Company, meeting artists as the numerous galleries in the area (make sure to visit Crow Town Gallery), chat with the locals, or just have some quiet time sitting on the back deck watching creatures cavort. It is my favorite place. "

"This was a perfect location for us! The house is right on the waterfront, with a private beach available for walking or sea glass hunting. It's also within walking distance of the local market, a nice takeout place, and a Dollar General. The dishes and other amenities were good quality (not always guaranteed in rentals). The shower was warm, with good water pressure. Once the gate is closed, our dog had a large fenced in yard to roam around, without worrying about him getting out or bothering the neighbors. The owner and caretaker were both friendly and responsive. The only ding I can think of is that since the main house is quite small, the kitchen, dining area, etc. are too. But we will definitely consider staying there again!"

"I’ve stayed in many Vrbos/AirB’s all around the world. This rental made it to my top 3 list, simply because it has everything you could ever want. It’s truly a hidden gem and thats great for anyone who already knows about the charm that Lubec has. The home itself was extremely clean. The kayaks were easy to use, and you can’t beat the view of the sunrise every morning out the windows. Especially if you sleep upstairs in the loft like we did. I’m telling you straight up, there isn’t a better rental in the town of Lubec, this is by far the best in the area. I’ve been coming to Lubec every year for the last 6 years just to give you some background. "

"The check in process was quick and pleasant. The rooms were very clean and we loved how they incorporated the original building into the new Inn. Loved being right on the bay. Great views! Dinner at the cafe next door was also very good. Loved the friendly feeling there. Parking was a little tight but able to park."

"This was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in. I would give it a 10 if possible. The owners made you feel welcome and were very accommodating. Room and property was better than advertised! Its remote location along with a lake front on property was awesome. The fact that they had kayaks/canoes for guests to use was such a pleasant surprise. I loved just sitting in the hammock by the lake and watching the birds. My son loved kayaking on the lake. I loved not having to unload my kayak. I wish I booked a longer stay here. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a break from our busy lives. "
