"This property is so beautiful and the food at the resturant was fantastic. Our only complaint was the spa, the sauna was great, but the hottub was lukewarm and there was so much chlorine it made our eyes burn and we had to get out almost immediately. Otherwise a perfect experience!"

"We stayed at hotel La Vela while attending a wedding nearby. We were more than pleasantly surprised by the hotel itself. It was in an excellent location within the town, on a quiet street a couple of minutes walk from the historic center & lake. Rooms were clean with a balcony & nice bathroom & beds very comfortable. We extended our stay for an additional night so that we could cycle around Lake Trasimeno. Silvia was wonderful to suggest parking areas in the nearby towns for visiting the sites & was helpful in booking a hotel for us as we continued our travels in Italy. I highly recommend Hotel La Vela & we would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Umbria."
