We had a magical vacation at Banana River Resort! The river view from our room was so peaceful to wake up to each morning. The resort provides fishing poles, so we stopped by a local tackle shop for shrimp and hooks and spent several evenings fishing from the dock while watching the sun set over the water. One of our favorite parts was seeing dolphins and manatees right from the property. We even watched a manatee glide through the river while the bioluminescence sparkled around it. Itfelt like a scene straight out of Moana ✨. The location is hard to beat. Having the beach directly across the street was amazing, and we loved being just minutes from so many great restaurants and local spots. As an unexpected bonus, we were able to watch a rocket launch during our stay, which made the trip even more memorable. This was truly one of our best vacations yet, and we can’t wait to come back!

This is the perfect spot! Relaxing and family or adult only friendly. I love that the paddle boards and kayaks were there to use. The house was very clean, modern and had enough supplies for the time we were there. We cooled the entire time and everything worked great with no issues. The beach is a short 3 minute walk, but the road that need to be crossed is busy there.

I was surprised that we had to share a air conditioning thermostat with our neighbor and they controlled it however the staff helped me out with that issue and they were very kind the room was very clean and the stay was a very pleasant highly recommend you replace shower head and handle.

The check in and check out process was smooth and the property was right next to the water. However we wouldn’t recommend this property as the bath/shower amenities were not functional and the bed was also very stiff. The shower is so small you can’t bend over to teach your feet and water leaks out and pools under the toilet.

Overall our stay was good. The staff was helpful our first night getting there which was nice because we showed up at midnight & they were still available. The beach is right across the street & so nice when compared to some of the more public entrances (Coco beach pier access, etc. ) & you can take the beach chairs & boogie boards with you. . . Just be sure to bring it all back otherwise you’ll be charged way more than the items are worth. We stayed in unit #4 & while the unit was clean there is definitely maintenance needed. The main bedroom leading out to the back looking over the river, that door would not close, the wall & door jam was separating several inches & you can tell the handy person has no idea how to properly fix it. The bed in that room was terribly uncomfortable. You could feel the springs in the mattress which was unfortunate. In the kitchen, the paint used to paint the kitchen table & chairs was not meant for furniture thus making the table & chairs feel sticky constantly no matter how much I wiped it down. While we were there we had 3 days of rain which then resulted in the roof leaking in the hall way outside the bathroom & 2nd bedroom creating a decent puddle on the floor. There was a unit we got to peek into right next to us, unit 8 that was fully remodeled & very nice. So if we booked here again it would have to be that one.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Unit was very clean, accommodating and cozy, quiet, easy parking. Had a little difficulty finding via google maps directions, but overall great. Wi-fi connection was shotty for us when watching Netflix (only complaint).

Loved it here! We spend a couple of day at the beach and a couple of days on the river. The location was quiet, and peaceful. The beach isn’t full near by just the way we like it bc it’s easier to keep an eye on your kiddos. We truly enjoyed our days on the river kayaking, swimming, etc. we will definitely be coming back.

Overall, it was an excellent choice for folks with older kids. We had 1 and 2 year old kids and the room and property are really great for honey mooners. The view is insta worthy and the parking was so ample. Watching the sunset here was priceless. It was a great stay, would do again but definitely not with small children

This place is absolutely amazing. The unit is gorgeous and spotless. The location is quiet. The place we stayed at was well stocked and the one thing we needed they didn’t have, was brought to us within an hour. This is a great spot for family to relax and have a quiet time but still get to the hot spots in the area. I already recommended the place to 3 families and we just left today!!
