They also offered to pick us up from the train station and drove us to pick up our rental car for a very reasonable price, which was such a thoughtful touch. There are B&Bs you stay in that feel very corporate and then there are places like this one. It is family owned and operated, and the owners make you feel like family while you are there. They and their two daughters were happy to show you the property they renovated during Covid and worked so hard to turn into a beautiful little part of France. We were received with kindness. The person at the reception was very helpful and showed us all the amenities of hotel and room. She gave us an upgrade in the room without us requesting it. Room was clean and spacious which is not common in many European cities. We added the well served breakfast at a reasonable price. The hotel is just about 10 min drive from the city castle. Overall great stay. Definitely recommend it!!

Lovely hotel in the walled city of Carcassone. Great setup for parking since you can't park in the city. They have a special parking lot where you leave your car and they have car service to pickup you and your luggage and deliver you to the hotel. Private event in their dining room when we were there but they made reservations for us in a lovely restaurant a few door down (Comte Roger) and was one of the best of our trip. This hotel was wonderful. Carcassonne is a special town and the hotel exceeded our expectations. It is located at the base of the castle with excellent views of the castle and surrounding hillsides. The restaurant offers an open-air experience, and we enjoyed happy hour wine in the evening then a lovely breakfast in the morning. The room itself was the best part - eloquent yet comfortable. We will stay here again when we visit Carcassonne.
