"Stayed at The Red Caboose Motel in July 2025. I have stayed at this establishment a number of times since 2016. I was assigned to the New Haven Caboose which is one of several Cabooses that received fresh exterior paint last year. Room interior was comfortable with two wall unit A/C units which kept the room cool. Room also featured Cable flat screen TV, coffee maker, microwave, and mini-fridge. I dined at the on-site Casey Jones Restaurant and had a good dinner. The Motel is having free concerts during the Summer on Thursday evenings at the on-site Barn entertainment venue with drinks and appetizers available for purchase. All in all, I enjoy my stays at The Red Caboose Motel and will return."

"Stayed 4 nights with husband, the location was great for our needs. The room was clean, and bed was very comfortable. Loved the rocking chairs outside of our room! We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, both very clean. Breakfast was typical continental, good for on the go, but there are several restaurants nearby as well. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We will stay again."

"We originally booked to stay elsewhere but, on our arrival, we were told we didn't have a reservation, and they were sold out. We happened to stumble on the AVID and we are very happy that we did. The stay was excellent, the staff were amazing, it was clean, all around a great choice. We will be staying there again when we come back to Lancaster."

Housekeeping did an amazing job keeping everything fresh during our stay. Food & Dining The food was surprisingly delicious! We had breakfast and dinner at the on-site restaurant, and both meals were great for both kids and adults. Lots of variety, kid-friendly options, and everything came out hot and fresh. Even the snacks and treats were fun and on theme. Activities & Entertainment This was the highlight for the kids! There were interactive games, character meet-and-greets, crafts, and even nighttime outdoor movies. The game hosts were AMAZING—so energetic, playful, and really got the kids laughing and involved. My little ones were in absolute awe the entire time. "
