Adjoining is the Nice Matin restaurant - top notch for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In addition, all kinds of dining, coffee and cocktail opportunities with 2 blocks, and we felt comfortable on the street, although we were generally back at the hotel by 10:00. The neighborhood is vibrant and busy - and very normal. Subway just a block away to go afield, and lots of Uber available for alternate travel. Walking distance to Museum of Natural History, Central Park, and even the Met Museum. "

Serafina restaurant opens into hotel for evening dining. Close to Zabars and Fairway and loads of local shops on Broadway and Amsterdam. Amsterdam from 79th to 96th is full of great restaurants and local bars. Heart of the Upper Westside. "
