"Beautiful property and cozy cottages. The views are so peaceful and lovely. The staff are very kind and helpful . We stayed in the prim rose cottage and it was such a chance to destress sitting on the porch watching the wild life in the breeze. We were there Monday / Tuesday so the chef was off but they had a nice continental breakfast left and it was a wonderful way to start the morning on the veranda with breakfast. The beds are comfortable the bathrooms are spacious and well stocked. It was a a perfect birthday treat to escape the rat race and reflect. It’s also not to far from Fredericksburg for shopping and dining. This was our second visit and we will be back. "

"Das Fritz Weinhaus is an outstanding property, a nice older home that has been maintained well and/or updated nicely. Jim and Laura are amongst the best hosts we have encountered, with many small touches around the home to make our experience easier. We were joined by our three legged, 17 yr old Shih Tzu Hobbes who could not get enough of the nice weather and excellent back yard for dogs. I highly recommend this property, we will stay again as we return to Hill Country to enjoy the many local wineries."

"This cabin is the perfect location for relaxation next to the river! It was very cozy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had everything you would need even a beautiful fresh flower arrangement! The screened in porch, fire pit and hot tub were a bonus! Kayaks and fishing poles were also provided."
