Unfortunately, the bed which was shown at the time of booking was different from the beds available when we reached the hotel. We booked at this hotel specifically because we thought there would be one whole, solid double bed. Instead, the bed was made of two single beds pushed together, with no mattress pad on top. "The people working there are friendly and helpful. We were a bit late for breakfast and the lady working there very kindly made up some food for us. The breakfast is good and varied. It's a bit off the beaten track being a 25 or so minute walk to the centre although there is a bus nearby that runs to town every 20 minutes. We had a very enjoyable stay."

"Spent 3 nights with my family in this wonderful accommodation. Great location, easy to get anywhere in Drachten, while being is a safe, secluded place for a quiet sleep, with horses grazing at a distance in front of your panorama window. Super clean, well equipped, kitchen, bathrooms, living room, bedrooms, everything worked, especially the air conditioning was a blessing during the tropical nights! Very friendly host, accommodating to all our needs. To be repeated."

"I stumbled upon this place on Expedia while playing a high-stakes game of "where am I driving next in the Netherlands," and it turned out to be the ultimate win. Hands down the best hotel of my trip so far! The place was so clean I’m pretty sure you could eat your breakfast off the floor (though I used the table like a civilized human). The absolute highlight? Watching the Dutch squad take on Japan in the World Cup right there in the hotel, cheering alongside the locals. The room itself was immaculate and the bed was dangerously comfortable. A massive shoutout to the rockstar at the front desk—she was incredibly sweet when I arrived, and somehow just as impossibly chipper and helpful when I checked out the next morning. 10/10, would absolutely stay again!"

"Lovely clean room and fabulous bathroom with lots of towels (a larger bath towel would have been great). The bin in the bedroom was not emptied in the three nights we were there, the bathroom bin was emptied. Room 57 had a slight sewage smell when first entering the room. Staff were pleasant and helpful. More signage in English would have been very much appreciated, I can understand a lot of German and speak French but sadly Dutch is not understood. Good parking facilities. "
