"My daughter and I stayed here for two nights while she was attending a sports camp at Va Tech. Nicely remodeled, quaint cabin less than 10 minutes from campus. Would totally rent again if/when we return to Blacksburg."

"We had a very comfortable stay at this property. Water was too low for kayaking but the house was very roomy and comfortable. It is as the pictures depicted and the area is extremely quiet. Even though it ended up being only 3 of us staying the house could easily sleep10 as advertised - we stayed there because of a family reunion at my sisters in Blacksburg which took about 40 minutes to get to her house. Would recommend this property to a big group as it can handle it.Thanks for the comfortable...

"I visited in the fall with some college friends for a game weekend, and had an incredible stay! The house is beautiful and in a great location, walking distance to campus and downtown. "We had a nice time. The home was clean. The water access was nice. The bedroom with the bunk bed did not have lightbulbs in the ceiling fixture and there were not extra bulbs in the utility closet, so we sent our youngest daughter to bed with a cell phone. Additionally, the door in the bedroom stuck since it was hot outside, so we learned quickly not to let her close the door. Overall, the place was lovely. We had a nice time."

"This house was wonderful…my only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. It is at the end of a long road but beautiful with lots of wildlife around. It was too cool for the lake but I look forward to a return visit!"

"Our host was spectacular. We had everything we needed. Fun game room with movies and video games for the kids. We all took our turn at pool, table tennis and air hockey as well. Great nature views of the mountains. We enjoyed seeing deer every morning and an occasional wild turkey or two. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the area. "
