We tried and tried to call and message the property and never received a response. La Fortuna is somewhat out in the country without many on the spot lodging options. The pool was wonderful and the location in town was peaceful yet right near the main square. Lots of restaurants and shops. Just down the road from so many great volcano and forest activities. "We had to change last minute and the Villas Macadamia had a casita. Turned out to be the best place we have stayed. Plenty of space for the whole family, close to town and quiet. "

"Absolutely perfect place for a large family of 11! Giselle cooked breakfast for us the first day. The home is close enough to walk to a grocery store, some restaurants and a great swimming hole! We enjoyed the pool, the hammocks and watching the sloths and macaws in nearby trees. We felt safe the entire time. I would highly recommend this place!"
