"The property was older but very clean. The rooms are unique and roomy. One of the friendliness staff we've ever had. Stayed because we were seeing a concert in town but was pleasantly surprises by the free shuttle to and from the venue"

"We stayed here for one night on the way to Acadia, National Park. It was a little over an hour from Bar Harbor, Maine which was really nice. This hotel far exceeded our expectations! Our only regret was arriving late so we couldn't stay longer and enjoy the pools! They have both an indoor and outdoor pool, the rooms are very clean and modern, and breakfast was spectacular! We had choice of a variety of homeade mini quiches, fresh baked cinnamon rolls, blueberry coffee cake , flaky croissant along with hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, etc... We were very impressed. Not to mention the view over the lake while eating breakfast was gorgeous both on the deck or inside. On top of that, the staff was extraordinary and so polite - checking in multiple times that our room and stay was good. Would love to come back here and will recommend this place to everyone! A+++"

"Friendly and helpful staff! They should get a raise! Pool was warm, breakfast was good and mattress and pillows soft. Good location IMO. Just far enough away from all the action. Close to Lobster pounds. There were cheaper options."
