"Great little guest house with stunning views.
Of Ullswater. We used the guest house as visiting the Inn on the Lake which is literally just across the road.
Spotless room and super friendly staff 👍"

"The hotel was beautiful and the outside scenery was amazing. I loved seeing the cows when I woke in the morning and the garden was awesome. I would stay here again if I were in this area."

"Customer service in the restaurant was amazing lots of different selections off food to choose from.
Spa was lovely shame robes weren’t available In the room though. £1 coin needed for the lockers which I hadn’t realised. The rooms are very clean the bed was so comfy great nights sleep "
"We stayed for 2 nights, room was really clean. Paula and Mark they are very nice people. Breakfast was good and served in the room on time. Very nice place to stay."
"What a lovely hotel with such good energy. There’s a serenity to this place. I thoroughly enjoyed the amenities from a swim in the pool, hot sauna, hanging out in the terrace and dinner at The Living Space. The property itself is beautifully designed. A place to stroll and soak in the peacefulness. After dinner I took such a stroll and while everyone else was dining I was able to spend some time on the tree swings by myself. During the day the swings were occupied by children, and why wouldn’t they be, they were delightful.
The self-serve breakfast had a great selection and was delicious.
Enjoyed my stay."
"Only stayed for 1 night. We got to the property late and we self checked in, we were left forms for breakfast and filled them in.
Beds were comfortable, owners were lovely and breakfast great. All around good stay!"
"To be fair, the only fault is that the gents toilet as you entered the building and passed to go upstairs to the bedrooms had a really bad smell. The room itself was spotlessly clean so maybe it was a one-off but it was a bit off putting - otherwise comfortable."
"The staff was very helpful to us - holding our luggage before check-in time so we could explore the area. We had dinner in the restaurant and came back later in the evening for dessert. Everything was fresh and delicious. The room was not huge but it was clean and the bed was comfortable, the shower hot and the little fan was great (it was quite a warm night). "
"Reception staff were lovely. After a long journey (4 hour drive) I turned up late at night 10pm on Friday and they were welcoming, able to show me around, spoke enthusiastic re the building, pointing out the footpath to the Lake, and I was able to get a night cap, had a good nights sleep and was ready for breakfast the next day."
"Absolutely lovely pub hotel. Rooms were great, comfortable beds, great selection of tea/coffee sachets in the room and a good smart TV. The breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly. So quiet and peaceful but 3 minute drive to Ullswater. I walked down to Aira Force from the hotel which was a bonus. We'll be back!"
