We had a great stay in the cottage - the location was incredible. Very peaceful! The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed and we would definitely stay again.
The cottage is beautiful, cosy and so quiet. We love the location as its a hidden gem. A quiet, beautiful corner of the lakes, with plenty of walks in the area. We enjoyed starting some of our walks from the cottage. Not far from keswick and amenities. A great stay
I highly recommend this cottage when visiting the Lake District. Everything was just as described, host was welcoming and cottage was clean/cozy. 5 stars all around!
What a location! We loved being able to walk straight out into the wild landscape and fresh air, then return to the lovely warm, cosy cottage for dinner and dancing! Thanks for a great stay
Lovely homely cottage. Everything we needed bbq, car parking very comfy bed.Mosedale perfect for walking straight from the cottage. Did not use the car throughtout our stay. Need to be organised with food n drink as there are no shops locally.Pub 30 mins walk away on very quiet road. Very relaxing break lovely sunny garden. Had the most perfect 5 days
We thoroughly enjoyed our four-night stay at Middle Farm Cottage - it offers an authentic rural English cottage experience in a beautiful setting, at an affordable price, and within just 15 minutes of Keswick. The cottage was clean, spacious, and charmingly decorated, and Jim was a responsive and helpful host. We highly recommend this charming accommodation!
Our stay here couldn’t have been better. The cottage is cozy, clean and in a quiet surrounding. We loved walking there, going to Keswick or the Lakes. Checkin was easy and uncomplicated, nothing to complain about!
Would really love to visit the cottage again!

We had a wonderful time. The cottage was very nice, in the country, close enough to trails and town. We ventured out every day to a new trail in a new location. THANK YOU for providing such a nice cottage. My husband especially liked watching the lambs playing in the field across the road.
A lovely spot for our two night stay. Quiet and off the beaten track, but not hard to get to, cosy and well-appointed. An excellent gastropub nearby and a short drive to the attractions in the lakes.
An absolute treasure for peace and quite loving couples who want a base when exploring the Lakes. Loved every minute of our stay and will definitely book again.
We had a terrific time staying at middle farm cottage. The view is spectacular and the cottage is so cozy and clean. Location is beautiful. The only thing that would make it better is WiFi for quiet nights in.
Just what we wanted. Views for miles.very quiet.very clean cottage.

Fantastic cottage in a peaceful and tranquil rural location. The cottage was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The milk in the fridge and biscuits on the table were a lovely and kind gesture from our host. I would rate this property 10/10.
We stayed in this pretty cottage from 1st to 5th April, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing break, the milk and biscuits were a welcome surprise.
With a great suntrap garden and beautiful views over the surrounding fields of sheep and lambs, and the mountains, it is perfectly positioned for visits to both Keswick and Penrith.
If you decide to book this cottage, you will not be disappointed, it is really lovely.
Idea base for exploring. Accommodation was adequate with equipped kitchen and comfortable living area and reading matter.
Bathroom spacious but not fully disability friendly as no grab rails or shelving in shower so needing to put shampoo etc on shower floor. Also shelf above sink which I managed to hit my forehead on when brushing teeth.
Also no Wifi at property and mobile signal poor at times.
Peaceful sitting area outside but car parking was interesting as we have large estate car.
Of all the VRBOs we have stayed in over the years..nothing, in my mind, can compare to this! The cottage itself was so clean, very well stocked with necessaries and the surroundings are the most incredibly beautiful I have ever seen! We so totally enjoyed our stay, and though the weather was quite chilly and wet, we were snug and warm inside the cottage. We rented a car and I must say, the narrow winding roads , the roundabouts and driving on the left side of the road were rather terrifying at first, but we gained courage after a couple of days and managed to get our rental car back to Penrith unscathed. Other than that everything was perfect. We walked in the area, visited a few nearby pubs where the food was excellent. We especially enjoyed the Mill House in Mungrisdale and the Old Crown in Heskit New Market..both a short drive away.
I can't wait to return. I am a handspinner and knitter and I was totally in my element here with the thousands of sheep everywhere. I wish I could go back for 3 months with all my equipment. I would bury my grandchildren in woollen knits!!
Thank you, Jim for the most enjoyable stay we have ever had..anywhere. We loved it beyond measure!!
Muy acogedor y recomendable para pasar unos días en el Lake District

The cottage was a quiet, clean and well equipped place to stay. Very well designed layout and excellent facilities for disabled access. We had a lovely time and wished we could have stayed longer.
