"I wanted to stay somewhere a little quirky and thought that this place would be ideal. There was a very steep lane on arrival. The hut shown in the picture is not the one we were in. We were under the impression that there was only one hut but we spotted 4 altogether. The reason I wanted the one in the photo was because it was close to the toilets as I have a stomach/digestion disorder and have to use the toilet during the night. "The hotel had great amenities and set in an excellent location, overlooking the sea. Most of the staff were helpful and frindly although the service for the afternoon tea was not to the same standard as the rest (the staff were not very attentive). The lift was out of service when we arrived but was fixed swiftly. We booked two rooms and one of the rooms was much nicer than the other, with a bigger TV and wardrobe and more recently renovated. It would be good to renovate the remaining rooms so they don't differ as much. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would happily return, although some consistency in the room standards and service would make the experience even better."
