"Was ok nothing special. Pool was to cool n lighting in pool area was not great. Had to go ask for towels at front desk. Issue after check out with payment still fighting with and nobody getting back to me about. Several emails and a few calls in already with no refund yet. Will look at different place next visit to red wing if not resolved today"

"This home is in the perfect location with lake views of the beautiful plateaus that surround the area. The trains were a nice piece of the experience and did not bother us at all. Plenty of space here including the large deck and the garden yard. Tip to note is to only load items for the larger downstairs bedroom through the first door under the deck. There is a side door entry to the right through the gate with less stairs that accesses the main living area including the kitchen and 2 other bedrooms. There are plenty of kid friendy things here and my 3 year old granddaughter loved it as much as we did."

"Great experience. Traveling with my husband to visit the area and do hikes. Nice location and cozy cute cabins! Owner is super helpful and kind. Minor hiccup at check-in due to booking through Expedia - Expedia doesn't share any info with the owner of the property and the email for my self check-in wasn't sent. I called the owner and he called right back after a few minutes and was able to give me all the instructions I needed. He even gave me some hiking recommendations. Later, the water wasn't getting hot in our cabin. I texted the owner and he came to check things out right away. He informed us that sadly, the water heater was going to need repairs. He upgraded us to another cabin that was actually bigger and very nice - the one we were in was also so cozy and lovely. Thankfully, our stay was uneventful (in the best way) from there on out! Cabins are very clean, cozy and have everything you need to cook food if you choose! Not far away from nice hikes in Winona or Alma. Oh and it's near the water too with a dock if you're into that. 😁 Owner is extremely kind, accommodating and hospitable. Highly recommend."
