The spa was so relaxing, and the staff were all so friendly. Reception kindly helped us with arranging scooter rental to head up to Limone and a private boat tour with local companies - both were amazing experiences! We were spoilt for choice of food on offer at breakfast, and we had dinner at the bar two nights in a row - so delicious and such a relaxed atmosphere! The room was gorgeous too, we didn't want to leave and this is the first hotel we’ve been to where we’ve discussed coming back for a repeat stay!"

"A few days break prior to visiting Bologna. We flew into Milan, train to Pescheria then taxi to Hotel Ideal. Perfect location, close to Jamaica beach and away from the crowds in summer. Good breakfast and excellent coffees! "

"My husband and I had an amazing stay here. The food was great, the staff was friendly, they offered us lots of snacks and plenty of water in our rooms, daily housekeeping, just all in all a great experience. We got married at Isola del Garda, just a 30 minute boat ride from the dock behind the hotel which was convenient. The asthetic of the property was very elegant, old money luxury. We loved the heated outdoor pool for when the sun was out, and we enjoyed the indoor spa and heated pool for when it rained. The only complaints I have is that the area isn't very walkable, and the taxis are insanely high priced. We had the hotel call us a taxi to go about 16 minutes up the street and back & paid 75€. Insane. Public transportation is the only thing that makes sense in Italy unless you're on a splurge. "

"Lefay is a stunning resort with picturesque views. The rooms are gorgeous as is the outdoor pool. The only downside is the hotel is on the top of the mountain so it is a little airy to drive up and down and takes nearly 20 mins to get down. If you are looking for a beautiful spa to just relax, it is just perfect."
