"One of our favourite hotels ever! Beautiful garden and cottages with a pool and great breakfast. Staff were wonderful, welcoming and very kind and attentive. In quiet valley near Sideman village. Highly recommended. "
"The hotel sits on a big island in a small river, with the main river running on the one and a small creek on the other side. The bungalows with the rooms are scattered along the creek and the facilties such as reception, restaurant and yoga shala (also to be used as guest lounge, library and massage place) are sprinkled across a big garden with lots of flowers, fish and sea rose ponds.
As the resort does not have any walls (the rooms have), it feels very generous and even bigger as it is. And...

"Such a special and quiet place in nature. So relaxing and authentic, family run lodging. Rooms were large and spacious with gorgeous views over the rice fields and mountain. Staff all friendly and helpful. It’s a 15-20 drive into Sidemen and the staff can arrange a driver. I would definitely stay again!"
"First time staying at Sidemen Villa, I’m initially thought I would be bored but the villa is so tranquil. Waking up to the sound of the jungle & view of the Mt Agung from the bed is beyond description. Service via WhatsApp is very efficient and breakfast can be served on request with no additional cost. "Our stay at Barong was beautiful, from the grounds and gardens to the exquisite room and view. This is the real Bali. Beautiful and tranquil countryside setting among rice fields.
Agung was a wonderful host who made our stay so much more special. He was very knowledgeable about the local area and very enthusiastic and fun to interact with each day.
