There are quite few good walking trials nearby. Our family dog and I especially enjoyed the Trans Cda Trail. We didn’t use the supplied cottage watercraft but they were as described in the host’s description. We thought the cottage exterior looked a bit disappointing but that was more than compensated for by the clean, modern interior and the promptness with which the host responded to our messages. Given the lack of rain this summer we (and the host) recommend purchasing drinking water which is readily available at Foodland in Omemee."
