"The hotel was nice and modern in a convenient location. There is a pub n grill downstairs as well as a starbucks which i thought was very convenient for a good meal n some coffee. There’s also a gym with swimming n jacuzzi which however you have to pay to use despite being a paying hotel guest. "Always had good stay with village before but this time there was problem at check in as I booked through Expedia. Paid through Expedia, and only had to pay for late check out at hotel but they tried to take full stay and the extra payment. They kept saying there was issue as there was insufficient fund in my card but I had already paid for stay. They blamed Expedia for this. Already a bad start to the stay. "The hotel was clean and well presented, and although I didn’t have time to use the facilities, everything appeared in good order. Unfortunately, the breakfast was very disappointing. The “full English” only included scrambled eggs, with no option for fried or poached eggs, and there were no cold meats or cheeses available. There wasn’t even any marmalade. At £17.50, it was certainly not worth the price."
