"What a charming, historic motel! Everything was squeaky clean. The owner actually checked us in and welcomed us with his grandmother's homemade cookies coupled with a glass of wine. (The host wine & cookies every afternoon). Our room was well appointed and updated as needed. Beds were very comfortable. We loved the second floor deck and views of the mountains. We would definitely stay again. It was a lovely treat."

"Everything about the room was great. Only complaint is a house near the property has dogs and apparently the dog owner has no problem leaving them out at night and letting them bark. We ended up calling the Ouray County Sheriff to come and mitigate this after 45 minutes of barking that started at 2:30 a.m."

"The bed was broken and at an angle. The manager said they did not know but I could not see how because they had to make it, right! Got the breakfast within the serving window and there was no hot food left Just not a great experience or what I would expect from a Quality Inn"

"Lovely setting and the room was excellent. The check in is with a kiosk, not a favorite of any traveler. The breakfast offers a lot of choices and the coffee is good. What you don't anticipate is all the taxes local/state/resort fees that will add about $80 to your room per day. "
