Enjoy the view of Lake Michigan/Little Traverse Bay. Great for a family vacation. Steps from the water, sandy beach, park, marina, pier, playground, bike path, Bear Creek and the charming village of Petoskey. Short drive or bike ride to Charlevoix and Harbor Springs, 2 miles to the Odawa Casino and near all winter sports.

Our home was recently renovated and furnished for your comfort.

This listing is for the downstairs level of our home which includes a full length lake facing deck, open concept living - dining - kitchen area, master bedroom with a queen bed, second bedroom with a queen/twin bunk bed, den with a queen sofa bed (the den has sliding doors for privacy but you do need to pass through the den to access the master bedroom and bath), there a 2 full baths both with a shower/soaking tub combination and a washer/dryer.

The upstairs is also a 1 bedroom/ 1 bath vacation rental that is usually rented to a couple but does sleep 3 - Listing # 346421. The upstairs unit does not extend over the downstairs bedroom/den area.

Fantastic location, wonderful stay

We have stayed here multiple times. The house has a direct view of the Petoskey marina and breakwater and Little Traverse Bay across a grassy park. Easy walking distance to downtown and the whole Petoskey waterfront, a beautiful modern kitchen/dining area/living room and very friendly owners.

Spring Get-away

We loved this cozy house! Easy neighborhood for walking by the river or into town to eat. Beautiful Sunsets just across the lawn, and a clean comfortable house with everything we needed to make our stay a pleasure!

Great location and beautiful home!

Our stay was amazing, fit everyone comfortably and everything was spotless. The kitchen and bathrooms are recently renovated and the view is gorgeous. Also the walk to downtown is very convenient and only 20 min from the ski hills nearby. Overall this place was great!

Great location!!

Property exactly as advertised. Beautiful locatioon! My 19 and 16 year olds were able to walk around and fish, jog and explore everyday. My husband and were able to walk to downtown and enjoy sunsets every evening. One if our favorite vacation rentals.

This was our third summer staying in this beautiful rental unit looking right out on the Petoskey breakwater and marina. Two blocks to restaurants and shops; literally across the street from the Bear River park and walking path.

New Years in Petoskey

This is just about the perfect location, with views of the water and walkability to downtown restaurants. There was plenty of space to spread out given the extra winter gear we brought along. It’s a short trip to local ski resorts with its central location between Boyne and Nubs/Highland. There was an issue with the cleaning company not coming prior to our arrival but the owner responded immediately to fix it.

Location, location, location

This property has a fantastic location overlooking Lake Michigan with a beach, pier and marina just a few yards away. Despite the wonderful location it was actually quiet! We also enjoyed the two block walk to downtown Petosky and the wooded trails along a stream which were just across from the front of the house. We have already discussed another stay at this property.

Great property in a perfect location

We stayed at the JLM property on family vacation. Very good communication from the owners to help prepare us. Checking in was a breeze. The property was terrific; clean and comfortable. The location is perfect; right across the street from break water pier, bike path, beach and bayfront park. Our favorite part was the covered deck that looks out over the bay; wonderful place for family meals and morning coffee. We will definitely stay with them again.

Great location!

Nice house so close to the town and pier. Clean and accurate listing. I wish we had more amenities like coffee, napkins, shower soap and shampoo. Also needs a bigger trash and more towels . Just easy little things to make it better bit still liked it! Sleeps 4 nicely. If u don’t use the pull out couch .

Perfect location and clean

We had a wonderful stay with our family of five. The kids loved the bunk beds and we were able to have our 3yo sleep in pack n play in the back room with sliding door. Bed was comfortable, tons of streaming options, and super close to town and the lighthouse. Wasn't loud outside at all. Make sure to bring small kitchen items if you plan to cook otherwise you'll need to purchase there, items like oil, salt/pepper, etc. Plenty of plates and pans though. Really great to have the laundry on-site and worked really well. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect Location /Well Appointed

An excellent 2 week stay in the lower level of this two level house. Has all the key amenities and they all work ! No issues save a bit of noise from the folks upstairs ---loud coughing and could hear most of their footsteps on our ceiling. This was not a major problem . The setting is so special. Across the street from the marina and Little Traverse Bay , yet very quiet , an easy walk to town and delightful restaurants and shops. . Bring a bicycle or rent one as the bike path is right there.

Loved this property. Loved it so much, I have a photo of the view from the back porch on my work PC desktop. Makes me happy every time I see it. The owners were good to work with. Let it be known, the house is two units. You can rent the bottom/main floor, the top floor or both. Missed that when choosing this way ahead of time. I’d be annoyed if I had to share a house with someone I didn’t know. Location is truly ideal. It’s clean inside, well stocked and spacious. Master suite is well laid out and the bed is quite comfortable. We have never rented the same home twice on purpose. I could adjust the rule for this site. It’s truly well located.

great place for family

We stayed here with our four children ages 1-9 yrs and it was perfect. Everything on one floor; the kids loved the bunk beds which had a double bed on the bottom and a twin on the top; also loved having their own bath. We took a pack-n-play and the 1 year old slept in that. The location is also perfect for kids. The playscape and marina are 5 minutes or less walk; the bike path is right out the back door and downtown is an easy 5-10 minute walk also. Our oldest child enjoys history so we toured the local museum which is in the restored train depot. There is a large grassy area across the street adjacent to the beach. The kids played in this grassy area and strolled the beach for stones and shells. While the beach is fairly sandy, the swimming area is quite rocky, so we took the short drive to Petoskey State Park to swim, where you'll find a great beach. The house is stocked with all you need including floor fans. The washer/dryer was a huge asset as we had lots of laundry with children. We had a wonderful time and hope to return again.

Location, location, location....

This place is amazing for a walk into beautiful Petoskey for so many shops, restaurants, coffee, and groceries. You can watch the sunset off Lake Michigan inside or outside of the unit. You can walk out to the pier, and in the summer look at all the boats. Perfect for little kids because the beach & park is right there. We stayed over New Years, so did not venture outside much. But we did walk into town because it was a warm. The inside is very nice with comfortable beds, great showers with great water pressure, two TV sets, nice kitchen area, and laundry too! Would stay again, and will recommend to friends. Only complaint is a King size bed would of been nice in the master bedroom. Wanted to point out, there are air conditioning units (it says on the listing there is not). There is an upper unit that has one King sized bed, one bathroom and kitchen/family room. We did not stay there, but looked at it. The upper unit was not being used during our stay, so there was no noise. We left some items behind, and the owners were nice enough to agree to send them to us.
