Happy with Hotel

Nice quaint hotel. Staff were extremely friendly. Restaurant connected to lobby had a nice menu. I would definitely go back to this hotel for a longer stay.

Overall I love staying at the Chestnut Hill Hotel and stay there frequently. I think the overall decor (rugs, elevator interior, etc.) could use a little updating but overall it's a great place to stay. Staff could not be friendlier, they are always delightful.

The hotel is very nice, the plants and flowers outside are beautiful. Breakfast has good options. The elevator is very slow but you just need to leave sufficient time if you need to get somewhere Reception representatives very nice!

Lousy breakfast

Wonderful hotel, comfortable, well kept in the heart of Chestnut Hill. Really enjoyed our stay. BUT- Lousy breakfast. Hard boiled eggs and cereal. For the price they charge, I would like a descent breakfast. I have had better breakfasts at hotels that were 1/2 the price.

We have stayed here before...but this time the room was so small and cramped. No room to put clothes away anywhere...bathroom so tight. it was room 306. Don't book that room! Also the temperature in the room was unbearable!

Nice but dated

The place is so-so. The rooms are dated and bathrooms tiny ( to see yourself in the mirror, or wash your hands in the sink, the door has to be closed.. I normally wouldn’t care about that but the overall experience was meh, so it added to the disappointment. I appreciate classic boutique/b&b style hotels and lodges but the feel of the rooms don’t really connect that way. The TV has one of those old universal remotes- at the very least get some smart TVs so guests can use their Netflix accounts.. The “breakfast” was worse than a travel lodge continental breakfast. I was very disappointed in the stay. I did have dinner at the grill which I can say was pretty decent.
