This resort is beautiful, the breakfast package that is included if you buy the package is worth it. The staff at the resort are very friendly and kind and will do anything to make your stay better. One of the best resorts I’ve stayed at in the Phoenix area by far.

Beautiful resort with lots of privacy and beautiful casitas, very clean, and amazing service. Enjoyed the hiking trails at the resort and the complimentary bikes.

This was such a nice property to stay at for the week. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. The spa was the best! It was in a nice location that was about a $12 Uber ride away from most places. We will definitely be back!

We checked into the first room ( of 3) and it was lovely but it smelled like mold. We asked to switch rooms to a non-mold smelling room . The kind valet (Rob) checked us in to a second room which smelled of a "musty" odor, with a sour and earthy smell. It was not the odor of an ozone machine. By the next morning, we had difficulty breathing, and we were both coughing. JW Marriott's staff moved us to yet another (third) room the following morning which was almost in the same state. At that point the joy and relaxing time of staying at the resort lost it's luster. In the last unit we kept the patio door and windows open all night to air out the room to no avail. The front receptionists were polite and helpful but three strikes...! The grounds were beautiful, well maintained and the food was great. The staff gets 5 stars for effort. They might consider investing in some ozone machines. I'm in the hospitality business and I would never rent rooms that smelled that bad of mold especially for those prices.

My transitional Retreat

I am glad I chose to stay at the JW Marriott resort and spa hotel, it was a wonderful experience. The condos were quiet and beautifulity decorated, loved walking around and enjoyed the garden. The pool and food was excellent 👍.

The only hotel I will stay in Scottsdale

Visited the hotel for the 1st time in 2022 and refuse to look at any other hotel. Clean, quiet, professional. Extra shout out to the guys up front; the valets and supporting staff.

Lovely stay, PHENOMENALLY gracious and helpful staff. Most incredible meal at Lincolns with the most attentive service and best prime rib ever. Cannot save enough about how beautifully the grounds are kept; everywhere we looked seemed to be a photo needing to be taken. Only wee disappointment was the “Adult Only” spa was under repair. Will definitely be returning! Thanks for a memorable several days.

Scenery is beautiful. Property is beautiful. All the amenities are wonderful. Loved the bar, fire pit areas, the spa and pool, the room. The staff could not have been nicer or more willing to help with anything at all. Very accommodating. A top notch experience. The surrounding area is so nice and as a woman traveling alone I felt safe. Quick drive to downtown Scottsdale to shop and eat.

Be advised there are no microwaves in the rooms. Also there seems to be a pest problem in the walls and vents that makes peaceful sleeping a bit challenging. However, the staff was very friendly and accomodating. Overall decent place. I'd give it another shot peobably.

The hotel is very well maintained, the staff are very nice and helpful, it was easy to go around and explore the place. However, what was really disappointing is the inside of the villa. It has a very bad odor the carpet was one of the dirtiest carpet I've ever seen my kids would walk barefoot for a second and their feet turns black immediately. The sheets and the bathrooms were clean but the carpet and the odor wasn't as expected..

The Marriott Camelback hotel is awesome. Pricy, but worth every penny. It is spread out on the side of a hill across the prairie from camelback mountain, so it doesn’t feel cramped and crowded like the other resorts. There is a linked golf course but FYI, this is a 10 minute shuttle ride away so not on sight. Shuttles are always available, however. Everything at the hotel - 2 lap pools, a large pool, two exercise facilities, including a large gym with free weights, spa, an 1.5 mile hiking train, and all the restaurants - are top-notch. The food quality is superb. The staff are invariably friendly and helpful. I will certainly be going back to this hotel in the future!

I loved the beauty of the gardens. The restaurants are very good and the staff is so friendly and accommodating The Camelback has my soul. I wish you would change the reservation policy at the pool, especially the adult pool. All the chairs were marked reserved but no one was using them. This didn’t seem to make much sense Nick the waiter at the Jackrabbit pool was so wonderful and very attentive. I had a manicure and pedicure at the spa and Olga is so talented and wonderful There’s a lot to love at the Camelback

5 Stars - Would stay again!

This property is gorgeous! The location is right in the heart of Paradise Valley and easily accessible. My best friend and I stayed there for a few days. We had an issue with our original room and the resort immediately changed our room and moved our luggage to the new room. Customer service was excellent in that regard! Our room was spacious and comfortable. The property is sprawling. You can walk to places within the property or you can request a golf cart to pick you up and bring you to your destination. We played golf at the Camelback Country Club Golf Course down the road. There was a shuttle service that takes you to and from the golf course and the resort. We played pickleball and reserving it was pretty easy. We ate at the steakhouse as well as Rita's Cantina. The food and service was excellent. I would definitely come back.
